“I went to Caffe E Cucina for a tinder date (which went pretty well, I think she likes me!) for lunch, and had a great time. We ordered different kinda small plates from the prima section of the menu and shared those which worked well as we weren't super hungry. The service was good, and prices not toooo bad. The food was definitely the highlight (after the company) with everything cooked to perfection. Seared tuna blew my mind.”

Service was efficient and friendly even though the hard working staff were quite busy. The whole place reminded us of small restaurants in Japan. “Had the best experience at Proper Pizza, all thanks to Nithya! Her service was honestly next-level, so kind, friendly, and genuinely caring. She made everything feel so easy and welcoming. And the pizza… wow. Tasted like proper firecooked perfection. Crispy, smoky, and insanely tasty. The vibes in the place are super cozy too, making it the perfect spot to chill and enjoy good food especially with mates. Nithya really made the visit unforgettable with her energy and attention to detail. Can’t recommend Proper Pizza enough, and if you go, definitely ask for Nithya, she is amazing!”

“We ordered - chicken bento box - miso ramen - salmon lover sushi platter - yuzu fruit tea (cold) Staff was friendly and quick. I have never had chicken sushi before, so I was very surprised. The Bento box was great and very filling. We also had the Octopus balls and pork Gyoza as appetizers, they did not disappoint. I would venture to guess everything on their menu is amazing. Definitely worth the stop!”

“The very best pizza place around locally. I really look forward to a nice and hot Hawaiian pizza on the odd Sunday special. Loads of toppings and a crunchy base that is delicious. I usually buy a nice and cold can or two to go with it but I only drink one then. The place is kept clean and the service is as good as the pizzas. I highly recommend this little business and owners. “These owners are BEYOND INCREDIBLE! I was tasked with bringing food to a large time sensitive function and I asked if they could have 2 large pizzas ready at 10am for pickup. To which they instantly said yes! (Note: they don't open until 1030am!) They were so kind and generous with their time. Didn't even charge a fee for the service. They came in early to cook and had the food ready precisely on time for me. So professional!! And everyone at the gathering LOVED the pizza. Couldn't get enough and needed to know where I got them from. Wonderful experience, highly recommend Sals pukekohe for your next gathering or for any pizza needs.”

“My daughter and I went for dinner tonight and we’ll definitely being going back. Each meal was well presented and delicious! Tastier than other Japanese restaurants I’ve been to. There is so much more on the menu I want to try. Was lovely just the two of us, but can imagine even better with a larger group and sharing more meals. Our meals came out with some time between them so I did get dinner envy of others I saw. But when ours arrived it was totally worth the wait. You def need to try this one. My latest east Auckland fav.”
