I highly recommend this restaurant — especially for big orders and party catering. Excellent service and delicious food!
Would say it is the best Sals experience I've had in Auckland, got really great customer service even tho it was late and close to closing, the pizza was cooked perfect and had a great crust that some places don't have since they rush it and give it to you before it had been in the oven long enough but not this place. Definitely recommend this place over Queen Street where we had to wait around 5 minutes to even get our order taken
Restaurant set up as NYC pizza. Simple menu, but the taste was extraordinary. My favorite was the 5 boroughs. It was juicy and flavourful, nice and moist.
Love Sal's pizza but unfortunately my last visit was very disappointing. Customer service is non existent & the staff that served me was rude. I ordered two pizzas online on Sunday 10/02/25 for a 21:15 pick up but when l arrived l was given only one pizza. When l asked the staff where the other pizza was he quickly checked the receipt then realizing his mistake said oh yeah it would be another 5-10 minutes wait as has to make it. No apology nothing. I told the staff this was the second time they've messed up my order and that l couldn't wait as there was no parking out front. The staff told me well what you want me to do??? lm here on my own & there's nothing he can do! I walked out and two other customers waiting in line followed me out the door saying they don't want to eat there after witnessing how the staff treated customers. Anyway l returned after 10 minutes and the order was complete although the heart shaped pizza had the wrong toppings on it lol.
Worst pizza I’ve ever had. I can’t believe I paid 50 nzd for this terrible pizza. The basil looks so old. The taste was terrible, I had one bite and couldn’t continue eating.
Great pizza for value. Wish there were a few more vegan pizzas to be enjoyed.
Visiting Auckland from Australia and happened to walk past this place, decided to come back for dinner & try a slice of their pepperoni & fire pizzas & I was pretty impressed. Nice big slices, prices seemed reasonable enough & it tasted fresh & authentic, thank you Sal’s I’ll pay you another visit next time I’m over here.
They serve nice pizza slices here, particularly the buffalo chicken which is my highlight. The prices are fine, though could be a bit cheaper for what you get. I like the store for a quick stop to eat and continue my day.
Wonderful. Every time I am in Auckland I always pop into Fort Street Sals. Always top tier Pizza. I usually go for a slice of cheese pizza or a slice of pepperoni pizza as well as some mozzarella sticks. Cheese sticks always fresh & have good cheese pull. Pizza is always delish. Workers are friendly. They have soft drinks available and some beer on tap.
