“I love this place! Really good food and service. Prices are reasonable, too. There's not really a downside, but if you're seated in the separate booths in the hallway, you lose some of the atmosphere, but if you're looking for some privacy, that's the spot. 5 stars!!”

“Favourite omurice spot in the city! Yoshizawa is a quaint restaurant located on the side of a busy street. Everytime I walk in the warm smell of curry, beef, rice and chicken makes me salivate. Friendly and quiet staff, perfect if you're an introvert like me. Highly recommend getting one of their omurices, super fluffy and slurpy eggs over hot fried rice (be careful!) And wow oh wow, the curry. It is so rich and strong, well seasoned and creamy that when you pair it with the egg and rice... Absolute banger. Chef's kiss. 10/10, peak restaurant.”

“Really great pool hall, extremely well priced to play pool, the food is a bit on the pricier side, but it is really high quality and tasty. Had the $31 burger which was never going to be the best value, but it was very nice. Had the ribs last time and the pizza too, all very nice. Some of the best thick cut fries I’ve had. Really great place, a local favourite.”

“A great little find off the main road on Parnell. It was very quiet which was nice for us as a family of 5. Had really generous sized meals packed with lots of flavour. The drinks were nice and cold I enjoyed the passion fruit mojito. Our children loved their meals just a bit large for them. The lunch specials were delicious and very lovely service from the hosts. Reasonable pricing for quality meals.”

The beautiful decor around the restaurant adds to the identity of the restaurant and the culture too. This restaurant deserves all the praise that they receive and will receive in the future. “A tiny jewel hides in lovely St Heliers neighborhood. Booking is super easy - online or phone call. Parking is easy as. Quality, freshness and quantity of dishes achieved a great balance. Clean and tidy - toilet too (and not wet). Try and you will keep coming back.”

As someone who is quite particular when it comes to food, I must admit I was thoroughly impressed by the delicious pizzas. The flavors are truly one-of-a-kind, and the ingredients are spot on. With a wide variety of options, there’s something to suit every taste. As a fan of spicy food, I especially enjoyed the Tandoori and Supernova pizzas, as well as the Supernova fries. “The waiters in this restaurant are very polite and made me feel very comfortable when dining in the store. They will ask you carefully if you need more water? Still need some service? It's been a long time since I've tasted such delicious Japanese food. The vegetable tempura is not greasy and the ingredients are chosen just right, so it tastes delicious. The most surprising thing is that I didn’t expect the portion size of KIWI DINNER to be so big, so I think the portion size for two people is just right. A Japanese restaurant that is worth visiting again.”

“We will definitely be back! Cold beer and delicious food. The food was so good - Chicken Teriyaki, Chicken Katsu, Fish Katsu, Vegetable Tempura. Loved that the mains came with Miso. Very reasonably priced plus BYO (which is so rare these days). The only negative was the restrooms could do with a bit of a refresh, but you go for the food, not the loos!”

“Have lived just down the road for 2 years, so thought it was time to try out the local Italian joint. Grabbed a takeaway lasagne (made in less than 10 minutes), walked home (less than 5 minutes), and chowed down. Super moist, super yum! “What an amazing gem with excellent service and amazing food. The food was authentic and fresh and very well prepared and presented. There is street parking and even thought the restaurant is compact it can cater for heaps. You don’t need to book and can just walk in. Take away is also available but Its nice to sit down and soak in the vibe.”

We had takeaway containers as we couldn’t finish everything. And the service was excellent, the whole team pitched in - it was a busy night. The restaurant was jam packed but that didn’t seem to phase the waiting team at all. Congratulations on a very busy but wonderful environment, service and kai!”

The staffs was very attentive and caring, making sure I am well sorted. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy and breathes good vibes. “We have been a frequent customer at Zac’s Pizza, mostly ordering takeouts, but we decided to stop by for a dinner this time, and it did not disappoint! We started with the cocktail shrimp, which came in a generous portion and was absolutely delicious. The salad was fresh and vibrant, complemented by a unique and flavourful special ingredient sauce that really set it apart. For the main course, I had the steak, and it was everything I hoped for—tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked, with a rich and savory mushroom sauce. The service was excellent, and despite the restaurant being busy, we only had to wait around 20 minutes for our food. The staff here are always so friendly, with a smile on their faces, making us feel right at home. Plus, there’s plenty of parking out front, which makes everything even more convenient. We’ll definitely be back again soon!”
