   Favourite omurice spot in the city! Yoshizawa is a quaint restaurant located on the side of a busy street. Everytime I walk in the warm smell of curry, beef, rice and chicken makes me salivate. Friendly and quiet staff, perfect if you're an introvert like me. Highly recommend getting one of their omurices, super fluffy and slurpy eggs over hot fried rice (be careful!) And wow oh wow, the curry. It is so rich and strong, well seasoned and creamy that when you pair it with the egg and rice... Absolute banger. Chef's kiss. 10/10, peak restaurant.

   They were very quick to serve the food so the wait time is no problem. The food was delicious and tastes authentic, a good place for other japanese people to visit. One dish will definitely make you full. It's a cute little place and the desserts at the counter are nice to try. I came here a few times and will continue to visit since my friend begs me to go here :3 I think the menu is a bit different from the other pictures I saw here so I've shared the menu pages in order. The picture shows the vege tempura don, the omu curry set with pork and a korean missus.

   I've lived in Japan for one year and I can tell you this is authentic! Very tasty and abundant plates. The set menu is exactly as what you would expect in Japan. Great miso soup.

   I don't remember how many times I've dined at this restaurant, but the quality of the food is still top-notch. The Karaage chicken is crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and the creamy sauce enhances the taste. I highly recommend the omurice, where the rice is steamed with sauce and ham, making it a perfect fit for the Eastern palate. Moreover, the beautiful waitresses provided excellent service :)

   OMU RICE - A must have dish here. I did not think much of this place, as alot of the other dishes were similar to other places but at a higher price. BUT I saw that many people were ordering this Omu rice. Omu rice is like a savoury fried rice that is covered up by this moist omelette on top. Served with some gravy like sauce next to it. I ordered the large size and it was very filling. The staff were friendly and the food was delivered to the table timely. Restaurant was cute with Japanese touches throughout the place. I will be back again for the Omu rice!

   We've been getting takeaways from here for a while as it's one of the best authentic Japanese places to eat in town and it's hard to get a seat as it's always busy but lately have noticed the size and quality has gone down. I get that business is tough since covid, with no staff, inflation etc but this is probably the last time we'll get takeaways from here. They've changed the pickles to the cheap pink sushi ginger, chicken katsu was a fave but it's now 90% crumb and rest is really thin chicken, and lastly the tofu salad used to come in a bowl that contained a good amount for $9. But this time either they ran out of containers or they're half asleep - the salad was in a sauce/condiment container? And still charged the same price? Really?? Wasn't impressed and will look elsewhere for our next Japanese feed.
