   If you are looking for authentic flavours, this wee gem tucked away behind the Parnell shops wont dissapoint. Don’t believe any negative reviews of this place. Our anniversary choice was perfect. Super fresh seafood and delicious sauces with both pasta and meat. Lamb racks and seafood platter in spaghetti superb. All round excellent, we will be back!

   Tastes like home and feels like home! Come support your local family business! Di Mare is a precious gem hidden in the midst of Parnell. Our experience at Di Mare was truly wonderful. The service was warm and welcoming, reflecting the homely decor of the restaurant. Tonight, we ordered the garlic bread, carpaccio, mussels, king prawns, spaghetti bolognese, chocolate cake, and fried banana. All dishes were fantastic as it emulated the love and nostalgia of home cooked meals. We particularly enjoyed the plump and juicy mussels that complemented perfectly with the savoury sauce. Not often do you get mussels of this stature! When you come, make sure to order a cocktail with your meal. The passion fruit mojito was refreshing. There was no withholding on the liquor for sure. This is our first time coming to Di Mare but it certainly won’t be the last. 10/10.

   Di Mare has been my go-to restaurant for ages, and it never disappoints! The cooking skills here are top-notch—every dish is bursting with flavor and made with such care. which is why I keep coming back. Plus, the service is always so warm and friendly. The staff and owners treat you like family, making the dining experience even better. If you’re after amazing food and great service, Di Mare is the place to be. Can’t recommend it enough!

   We had the most wonderful experience at Di Mare for dinner last night. The owners are the ones running the whole operation, from cooking the food to serving it. They are such lovely, hospitable people. The food was absolutely DIVINE! We had the garlic bread, calamari, fruto di mare with pasta and the rack of lamb with mint sauce. We also had incredible deserts like the panacota and the fried bananas with ice cream. The atmosphere is so cozy and reminds you of being at Nona’s house. All together, we had an incredible time and would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

   A great little find off the main road on Parnell. It was very quiet which was nice for us as a family of 5. Had really generous sized meals packed with lots of flavour. The drinks were nice and cold I enjoyed the passion fruit mojito. Our children loved their meals just a bit large for them. The lunch specials were delicious and very lovely service from the hosts. Reasonable pricing for quality meals.

   It was very lovely ambiance food was tasty! The staff was very generous and friendly which we had a miscommunication on the steak doneness and the staff handled the situation very politely. And it was very thoughtful that we received a cake with a candle light when we mentioned we were celebrating our friend’s birthday. Definitely gonna repeat.

   Beautiful restaurant, very nice ambiance. A bit hidden from Parnell main road, which is good. Halal options available. The garlic bread and carbonara pasta is very delicious. The seafood is good. The well done sirloin steak is a bit dry. The price is on the high side. Overall it was good experience.

   The taste is on point for the price and they offer halal meat options. This is my first halal steak in Auckland and it was good. The seafood we ordered was also tasty! Definitely will be here again for the next good occasion!

   Very disappointed with both food & service as their reviews were pretty good. I only picked this place because of good ratings. Tomato based pasta were average. Carbonara was good. The steak was below average. The lady who seemed to be an owner's wife was serving us and her manner wasn’t gracious at all including a way of leaving drinks and food on the table. I wouldn’t go back there as there are better Italian restaurants in Auckland.
