   I used to love Lil Abner’s and recommended it to many friends and family. But over the past four visits, the chicken kebab has been completely tasteless, with barely any sauce even when I ask for extra. I gave it multiple chances, thinking it might be a staffing or ownership change, but nothing has improved. Sadly, this was my last visit — I won’t be coming back.

   I always buy Lil Abner's and their food is delicious but recently I ordered twice and received dry wrap, barely sauce put it also the chips are tasteless no salt at all. Tonight, I went in person to see and saw Indian staff's preparing the meals (a female and a male). Kindly serve food in proper way. Paying $20 for dry kebab and saltless Chip's Not Worth It.

   Edit: 2024 as they now are not as good as rhey used to be. They no longer have the same crinkle cut fries, their current ones are horrible, the only redeeming thing for the fries is they use the same tasty chicken salt, have attached photos of their new crinkle cuts. The kebabs here are nothing special anymore, the chicken taste like the bad parts of chicken on a roast chicken, while they put way to much mayo in the kebab as well. Choice Food bar kebabs a couple of stores down taste better than them now. Yokum burger is not bad, depends on if you like the sound of this below, its basically minced chicken with stuffing mixed together with mayo, wrapped inside an egg and put into a burger.

   We used to love kebabs from here but recently the food quality has gone down. I ordered chicken on rice, the chicken was dry n chewy, my boys got mixed on fries and it was so salty. The deals are not affordable anymore. I hope this review helps and they improve for better.

   There's a $9 meal that we always get comes with a chicken , fries and salad so worth it you can feed 2 people with this meal we also buy a crab salad which cost $7 add that with it superve . They have heaps of big family meals and other . They late in th morning good for late meals after a night out .

   17/08/23 Tonight's remake of food in store service tasted, a little bit better than last nights food order. Chef staff could of told us that our order was ready, instead of assuming that it was for delivery, my order was sitting in bag for a few minutes before being served to me. I will not be ordering anymore Kebabs from this store this isn't how I like my Mix Meat Kebab to be made, this one tastes different to the ones that I would usually buy from other Kebab Stores. I only ordered from here last night because my favorite Kebab store was closed late last night. also won't be ordering anymore hot chips from here as this doesn't taste like the hot chips, that I use to order from here, crinkle cut fries and they didn't even put serviets in my order. I also won't be ordering anymore delivery food service from this store. I noticed tonight that their is new staff or owners. 16/08/23 Not satisfied with tonights, delivery food order, my kebab was not made properly and chips too soggy brown and some burnt. kebab tasted like, a meat gravey soup this is not what I expected.

   Lady serving us seemed quite judgmental and the hotdogs were average. The chips was nice and sake was nice too. Not too expensive either hence an extra star for that but fairly average

   Staple place of South Auckland, many of a good night have ended here. Always open at peak times. Quantity of the food is less given the price and service is sometimes hit and miss. Hasn’t stopped me going back… yet
