The taro and fish with coconut cream was fire, the fried pork buns were good and the panikekes were good too. Oh and the nice lady that served me gave me the fish treat for free - fa'afetai lava!”

“Had chips in the middle of the night, just spot on. Made crispy as requested. Also chips are fried in separate oil so they tasted very authentic. Store was very tidy and had option to sit as well. Guy serving was also very kind!”

Service is 10/10, the parking spots on the other hand could be better, not much options besides the main road but otherwise, 10/10 restaurant!!”

“This place is take out only and has been in the area for over a decade! Cute little mom and pop shop. Fast service and the food comes out so crispy each time! I typically get their fish and chips because of how thin and crispy the fish is!”

“Best potato fritters by far. Standard scoop of chips was a good serve and delicious crunchy chips. Look forward to trying the fish and Chinese menu also.”

“This is now my favourite K BBQ spot. The marinated duck was delicious. Free, delicious banchan. All the meals we ordered were really tasty. I would say, very close to how I tasted them back in Korea. The staff were friendly and prompt. Service was prompt, too. Would definitely go back here again and totally recommend this place.”

“These owners are BEYOND INCREDIBLE! I was tasked with bringing food to a large time sensitive function and I asked if they could have 2 large pizzas ready at 10am for pickup. To which they instantly said yes! (Note: they don't open until 1030am!) They were so kind and generous with their time. Didn't even charge a fee for the service. They came in early to cook and had the food ready precisely on time for me. So professional!! And everyone at the gathering LOVED the pizza. Couldn't get enough and needed to know where I got them from. Wonderful experience, highly recommend Sals pukekohe for your next gathering or for any pizza needs.”

“After a pretty long time our family went out for lunch. We loved their friendly approach and service . My daughter loved wedges and dips. I just loved the fish with considerable seasoning and crispy hot fries with peri peri. After an ages we enjoyed and had tasty food. Planning to visit very soon.”

“Apr 2022: This a nice and causy place, with much variety. The sushi is good, not fancy, and not superb. The prices are decent. 2021: I had a tasty Salomon sandwich and miso soup. The prices are surprisingly cheap.”

“Beautiful food, friendly staff & very clean premises. I ordered 1 piece of snapper, 1/2 scoop of chips & a potato fritter. The chips were golden, crisp on the outside & fluffy on the inside. Fish & potato fritter were cooked to perfection & also crispy.”

“It's hard to find good vegetarian options for food and it gets even harder when you are trying to find vegan ones. Whenever I go to a restaurant that offers a vegetarian option I order it to see if it is at least decent, so when looking for places to go eat around our hotel and this came up. I admit the name was also catchy, so I figured I had to try it. Well my wife ordered the parma and i got the spicy, which I have to tell you, it was spicy... But not spicy for the sake of being spicy, but full of flavor as well. We also ordered the loaded fries (HSP on the menu). Everything was great but I like my wife's parma better than my spicy. The only downside is that there isn't any covered seating. Just 2 tables for outdoor seating. However I enjoyed getting food from there and if I lived nearby I would probably go there often. I would say definitely give it a try.”

“Very authentic Guilin rice noodles - tastes like home. The soup base is rich and flavourful. Portions are pretty big and worth the price. The lady running the store is friendly. Quite a well regarded store in the community. They have other types of broths / toppings too. You can add quill eggs as an extra which is nice. It’s in a food court style area so there is a chance you may need to wait for a seat during very busy times.”

“Absolutely love coming back to Manurewa to get BBQ pork, Crispy Pork & Roast Duck on Rice. Usually this is a 3 option meat meal & it ranges from $20-$25 dollars depending if you want extra spring onion sauce. Small spring onion sauce is $2.50 & big one is $4.50-$5.”
