Lovely Korean restaurant that is frequented by the locals. Reservations aren't available, so be prepared to wait a while as they are very popular. I love that there are many, many side dishes served with every meal. The fried chicken was super tender and juicy too!
For wholesome Korean family restaurant vibes, look no where else. This is a family run restaurant with plenty of delicious side dishes (the fried potato cakes are a delight). If you are wanting to experience all the banchan of Korean culture, this is a great place to start with a generous amount of side dishes. The mains were lovely home style Korean cooking. We enjoyed the pork bone soup and bulgolgi. Price is extremely reasonable.
A Korean restaurant offers generous side dishes: eight dishes. And they are all yummy. Affordable price, good amount on each dish, calm and relax atmosphere. It's very busy during lunch time, might need more staffs.
Great place for Korean food - we loved it! You get a really good variety of sided served with your dishes too which was nice. The service could be a little more friendly but still would reccomend. Good quality for the cost.
Been here many times, they are famous for their amazing side dishes. Their stew, in particularly the pork bone soup is very yummy and generous in the portion. However there will always be a queue to come into this restaurant, especially in the weekend. Also, they seem to be not that nice to people other than Koreans. We were second table to come in for a particular occasion and ordered pretty quickly. However I looked around, all the Korean seated tables were served first and we had to wait 45 minutes before we got half our orders here. I had to ask whether the other half was coming and he said it was but I felt if I didn't ask we were never going to get the other half. They also left out the pancake side dishes and start serving other tables and giving them the pancake side dishes. Despite the amazing food, I really can't give 5 stars for this kind of service in New Zealand.
One of many long standing Korean restaurants in the shore and they have been very nice to us. The food remains very good and amazing side dishes. My only regret is not having a big enough stomach for all the options.
Awesome Quality, Cheap and Very Yummy! Can get side dish for free as much as you want. Side dish is freshly made on the day, everytimes have different types of side dish. I get refill two times. haha It is wondeful service. Always busy and fast to be no vacancy tables. so better to book table before come. All mains except noddle come with rice.
A small restaurant with only few seats but the food was pretty good especially the generous portion of side dishes. Spicy pork was very delicious but the pork katsu was a bit small tho compared to other Korean restaurants.
A small restaurant serving a variety of korean dishes. They also provide many refillable side dishes. It gets really busy during peak hours, do expect a long waiting line.
Excellent value for money and friendly service! Delicious mains and you get free side dishes. We arrived just before 11:30am on a Saturday and there was already a queue outside. They were very generous with the side dishes which were delicious!
