“It was 2022 when I first came here, and back then the food was great and it was pretty decent overall with services and atmosphere. However, when I return today, their quality took on a whole new level. Services are much more pleasant and welcoming now, and although there are inflation, they compensated it with a free drink for just ordering a bowl of rice noodle. Atmosphere didn’t change too much, but it has always been satisfactory. Overall great experience! P.S: food usually takes only 3-5 minutes to serve now.”

“Basic math skills definitely need to be reevaluated due to disappointing service being short changed. One of my horrific experiences I asked for a $20 item plus a $1 can of drink and a lighter. I handed over $40 in cash (x2 $20 notes) and in change I was given back $10 note??? How does a $1 can of drink and 1 lighter cost $10? Very poor math skills. Especially with their ethnic background. Very dissatisfied.”

“Doing late shifts at work and having to find a place for dinner rather than lunch glad I came here. Great portion size Roast Pork on Rice is my go to, Fish and Chips are Crunchy on the outside and soft and moist for the fish and fluffy for the chips. They have a whole lot of variety of dishes and great value for money and you can even eat in too, if you're ever around the Mt Smart Onehunga area drop by and check them out for yourself, I'm sure the friendly staff will be happy to see some new faces.”

The chicken salt is an excellent touch on the chips too. Will be back again. Best chips ive had in years. Can tell they care about food quality and cooked with love. “Located upstairs at the Terrace food area. Great place for noodles and Xi'An Roujiamou. You can choose between thin or thick noodles for some dishes. They also have spicy dumplings too. The Beef noodles was delicious and really good value for money”

“Excellent taste. Turned away for oily Chinese dishes. Sweet sour fish has many fresh fruits like pineapple, grapes and tomatoes, which make the sourness complex and various. Good appearances and good balance of sweet and sourness. Dry fish and chicken fried rice is definitely top of its kind. Fried rice is not that easy I could taste shrimp oil, salted egg and dry fish which made the rice rich in flavour.”

“It's been almost 3 years since we last dinned at XinFengMao. We are surprised with their added variety of dishes in their menu that are kids friendly, e.g. sizzling fried Japanese tofu and sauteed potato, green pepper and eggplant. But their most favourite dish was the BBQ lamb skewers, which was lightly seasoned with cumin seeds and very appetising. We will definitely bring our family and friends back again to experience this tasty Chinese street food culture!”

“Delicious KiWi Chicken. First time trying out their food. Original Fried Chicken and Seasoned Chicken both delicious, better than some other Korean Chicken I have tasted. Fries are so good, crispy on outside, fluffy on inside. We dined in and we were given gloves which is a bonus especially eating fried Chicken. Thank you for having us. Will definitely come back again.”

“Was recommended to come here for the Lambs Fry, so I made the trek out to this little cafe and it dosent disappoint. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! The food was homely and very satisfying as well. They have a whole range of food items, hot or cold! Of course there are espresso based drinks, as well as alcoholic if you want a cold brew! There are lovely little tables inside to sit at, or there are tables littered all over the courtyard!”
