“We had a great experience with Freedom pools . The install was quick and seamless. The customer service before getting the pool installed, throughout the whole process and after the install has been impeccable. We love being able to get our pool water tested and expert advice for free when we go to Freedom Pools. We are also very happy with our fibreglass pool. It has ticked all the boxes and the family are loving it.”
“Fantastic service from Gary initially when i was looking to have 20 year old pool resurfaced. Competitive quote for the job but more importantly everything that was committed to was done on time and to a very high standard. We now have a great looking pool again that we are happy to show off and use a lot more than previous. Have moved valet to Sparking Pools as well now, on back of great service received for this project.”
“Had an amazing night with friends at Shooters Snooker & Pool! The place has changed a lot since our last visit & looks Amazing. The pool tables are top-notch, the food was delicious, and the drinks were incredibly affordable. A fantastic spot for a fun evening out. Highly recommend! Five Stars !”
“The Pool People team are the best. Any technical issues call Adrian. Their service is reliable and they’re very honest. Thank you Dylan and John. You never let your customers down.”
“We purchased our first spa from Mike 6 years ago and it has run faultlessly and we are now upgrading to a new spa. We have found Mike fantastic to deal with - he really knows his stuff regarding spas and is always extremely helpful. The showroom has a great range of different spas and products on display to suit any kind of buyer.”
“Lovely, prompt people to hire from and communicate with, totally hassle-free. Hired a birth pool and would return if I needed one again.”
“Concrete: Smooth Obstacles: Some beginner stuff. But it's mostly for an intermediate plus level of skillsets. It's got good park flow. Clean lines with plenty of space, not being too far apart or too crowded between obstacles. This park felt like a playground to me. It didn't look like much at first. But once I started playing with different lines, I realized it was set up in a way you can do a lot as you can go from one side to the other, back to back and keep your momentum. Maintenance: - Very clean - No Graffiti - No tripping hazards - Well maintained Parking: Plenty of free parking.”
“My favourite leisure centre by far - the gym has all you need, plus having the sauna and pool for recovery is ideal. Special mention to Alex up in the gym - super welcoming guy with buckets of knowledge, charisma, and a friendly demeanour to boot!”
“Incredibly fun activity. The two hours were up before I knew it. Appreciated the different range of tools, and the person that explained how to throw (I believe his name was KJ,) was very friendly and helpful. I don't remember the other staff member's name, only that he had a SpongeBob tattoo on the inside of his lower shin. He was regularly checking in, and giving very helpful pointers. Even the regulars are friendly, and the overall vibe I got from this business was that axe throwing was a friendly and welcoming community. I never felt judged by anyone in there, only guided. Thoroughly enjoyed it, even during the frustrating parts. I wish there was a higher rating than 5 stars”
“Hi Guys , I have been using Laser Electrical for over 5 years (with one exception, which was not particularly memorable). Laser are efficient, friendly and timely with well-trained staff. I recommend them always, I believe the company culture to be excellent, as my daughter has had the same experience having work done in the Coromandel area.”
“Very friendly people.Able to heal faster with their help.Alison has a great team at work.”
“Supper happy with my new sauna heats up quickly doesn’t cost much to run very relaxing use twice a week atm as it’s summer highly recommend if your into saunas and easy to put together thanks to Alima Ahmadi and Amber at Alpine spas for sorting everything out so quickly and easily :))”
“I have purchased several pieces of outdoor furniture and covers from Modern Style’s Christchurch branch. The customer service is excellent and products are of exceptional quality. I have no hesitation in recommending to others.”
“We had an excellent experience with The Canvas Company in Rosedale. Brendan was fantastic to deal with — his technical knowledge and product expertise made a big difference in finding the right solution for us. The quality of the product and service was outstanding. Highly recommend Brendan and the team!”
“The building of our holiday was very enjoyable and was enhanced by Danielle's knowledge and experience. Our holiday was fantastic with free time as well as pre-booked activities, all of which worked like clockwork. Unfortunately we had a medical emergency during our time in Australia and I would particularly like to thank Jaydene for her help and support to Heather while I was in hospital. It was a great help to her during a particularly stressful time. I have used other travel companies in the past but the experience with First Light Travel was better than any of the others. I have no hesitation recommending them to others.”
“This was our first time at Waiheke Island we loved every day we stayed. One O One cabins was beautiful & peaceful the cabin was equipped with all you needed clean and modern. A sunny spot listening to the Tui each morning. Our only tip would be, be aware of all steps as it is a climb if you struggle with going up and down. Thank you for an amazing stay.”
“Natalie/It's My Party was a delight to collaborate with for the Puketapapa Volunteer Recognition Awards night hosted and funded by the Puketapapa Local Board! She took our ideas and theme and executed them better than we had ever imagined! She was extremely accommodating and help us design an extravagant event within our budget. Would love to work with Natalie again, on future Auckland Council events. Thank you Nat, for all your help in delivering a successful event!”
“New custom made round spa cover arrived today and we are very pleased with it. Seamless experience from the day we ordered. A quality job - thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“After reading worrying reviews of the kitset sheds sold by the usual hardware chains, which mentioned flimsiness and terrible instructions, we decided to pay the little extra to have a shed installed by Gary's Sheds. We are happy we did. Absolutely no-hassle complete construction including foundations and floor, done quickly and on time. We also loved that we could choose our colours.”
“Cornwall Park looks absolutely stunning during cherry blossom season! The trees are full of delicate pink blooms, and it’s such a peaceful, scenic place to walk around or take photos. However, it can get very crowded on weekends with lots of people doing photoshoots. I’d suggest visiting on a weekday or early morning if you want a quieter experience and better photos. Definitely worth the visit!”
“Muriwai Beach is a breathtaking natural wonder! The rugged black sand, and powerful waves make it a must-visit. Great for walks, photography, and just admiring the scenery. Remember to be careful near the water.”
“Really sweet, friendly and fun staff who took care of us from start to finish. Had an amazing time and love the photos and shirts we got! Will definitely recommend.”
“Visited this morning and spent 2-3 hours doing the loop (probably only takes 30 mins) but was took my time taking pictures and picking my jaw off the floor from the views. The loop does loop around to and from the car park. I saw a review suggesting women don’t go alone but I did and felt safe on the trail. The views are incredible and the loop itself isn’t hard, just some incline and decline. Had service the whole loop, it was clean and beautiful! Absolutely recommend.”
“Fantastic experience for locals and tourists alike. The pricing is very fair considering what’s involved. You’re given a fair choice of courses to partake in to suit all ages. The courses are various, which keeps it interesting no matter your skill level or confidence with heights. At heights varying from 1 to 10 metres, you’ll have to go through tunnels, across beams, weave in between posts or even just walk the tightrope with nothing but a cable to keep your balance. Highly recommend the day out.”
“Piha Beach is a very popular beach for both tourists and local residents. My husband and I have been to Piha Beach for several times and we both love the views there. We enjoyed the great view there and the delicious real fruit ice cream at Cones On The Beach which is just opposite to Piha Mid Beach. We highly recommend you to go there at daytime, but only night time.”
“The rocky area is beautiful and there are many natural birds here. Nearby is a long wide beach, strong wind. There are many parking areas around, can park camvan. From the parking lot to the view point is quite close and easy to walk. Pay attention: Dogs, other animals and pets are prohibited at all Auckland Council regional parks' bookable sites and accommodation. The exception is registered aid dogs. You will need to advise our staff at time of booking if you have a registered aid dog for an exemption. Dogs are allowed in regional parks only as stated in the dog walking section of the park's information and in the Regional Parks Management Plan. All other animals are prohibited at all times, unless you have a permit issued by Auckland Council. Our regional parks are smoke-free.”
“Piha Beach in New Zealand boasts awe-inspiring views, Phia Beach in New Zealand offers breathtaking views from the mountain top—an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend—an absolute gem.”
“Maukatia Bay is a hidden gem on the Whangaparāoa Peninsula. The views across the water to Auckland are absolutely stunning—perfect for photos, especially at sunrise or sunset. It's a peaceful spot, ideal for a relaxing day out. We were hoping to spot some birds, but it seems we were there during the off-season, so no luck this time. Still, the scenery made up for it! The only downside was the wind—it was quite breezy when we visited, so make sure to bring a jacket if you're planning to stay for a while. Overall, Matakatia Bay is a beautiful and tranquil spot that's well worth a visit.”
