   I booked Sparkling Pools for a routine clean in October. The cleaning itself was fine, but the invoice I received was a shock. My previous clean with them was $117, so I expected something in that range. Instead, I was hit with an invoice for over $500 — with zero warning. When I booked, I told them the pool had gone a bit green. No one mentioned that this would suddenly turn a standard valet into a multi-hundred-dollar job. Their website vaguely advertises “$91 + chemicals & GST per visit,” but apparently that actually means hourly rates, multiple visits, and chemical charges that jumped from $10 to over $250 without a single heads-up. As someone maintaining a pool for the first time, I had absolutely no way of knowing the cost could blow out like this. When I questioned the invoice, their response was essentially that it was “obvious” it would cost more because the pool was green, and that it was my responsibility to ask if the price would be similar to my last visit. In other words: unclear pricing is my fault, not theirs. The lack of transparency, the blame-shifting, and the refusal to acknowledge any responsibility were extremely disappointing. I won’t be returning, and I strongly suggest anyone considering them demand a detailed quote before they do anything — or find another company altogether.

   We are delighted with the renovation of our small pool undertaken by Grant and his team. The staff were courteous, and hardworking and very respectful of our property which was left tidy each afternoon. The tiler was particularly talented. We did have one glitch on one aspect of the quote which was settled to my satisfaction. Overall we are very happy with the result and would recommend this company.

   Have used these guys for few years. Service was average, some times never showed up and pool turned green, not really professional. Then got told that they can’t be bothered sending me the email, where I requested them to flick a switch off that I had already done for winter. Was all to much and got told “ can’t be bothered with that” They Really don’t want the work, seems like we are doing them a favour by getting them to cleaning our pool. Plenty of good options out there .. ring around

   Sparkling Pools did a full pool refurbishment. My pool was a tired old concrete pool. It looks so amazing now with the new Hydrazzo surface and new tiles! The team at Sparkling Pools made the whole refurbishment project so easy for me. They not only applied the new plaster finish but dealt with sorting out all the lights, electrics, pool dosing system and servicing for me.

   After ringing three different pool companies, who were uninterested i found Grant and the team. He had a tech to our house within 48 hours. Shaun did the job and there isn't much Shaun doesn't know about pools. We have asked Grant if he can take over our valet as well.

   Fantastic service from Gary initially when i was looking to have 20 year old pool resurfaced. Competitive quote for the job but more importantly everything that was committed to was done on time and to a very high standard. We now have a great looking pool again that we are happy to show off and use a lot more than previous. Have moved valet to Sparking Pools as well now, on back of great service received for this project.
