   Buyers beware!!! Would never shop here again. Terrible customer service - unhelpful owner uses intimidation tactics when queried about faulty products. Dogs presence also wouldn’t surprise me if used for intimidation as dog is allowed to wander anywhere all over shop and outside unattended. Purchased a rubbish spa lid from this shop. Owner surprised us with the wrong size lid on pick up even though we gave measurements when we ordered and assured us it would be fine even though too big. He was not sorry for the size difference and acted as if this was normal and we should be grateful. Well after 3 months the lid began to sag, pooling with water in the centre. Was told to continually flip the inserts every few months as if it was normal practice to do so. Other companies cannot believe this was suggested. Have spoken to a number of locals who also have purchased faulty lids from him and were told the same thing. Lids don’t last far past the one year warranty. Owner seems to just flog complaints off and buy more time until warranty lapses. Flipping inserts then caused the protective inner plastic to tear, the seams to weaken and the entire lid became water logged and cracked. Owner will take no responsibility and ignores emails and swore at us over phone calls. Going into store with a complaint is intimidating with big German Shepard in your face. Awful person unwilling to take accountability. Dodgy shop and dodgy customer service. Embarrassed to have as a local shop on the coast. Looking into what can be done further as this seems to be happening to a lot of local people and I don’t want anyone else to be scammed by this business. It’s disappointing as had this been rectified I would loved to have continued to support and shop locally.

   Mike McGurk is an untrustworthy salesperson and has poor customer service. We ordered a Spa Pool Lid in May 2019 and 4 months later, we were still waiting. We had to follow him up multiple times, and every time he had a different excuse. Mike continuously blamed shipment delays and led is to wait longer. After 4 months, we just gave up and walked away. I would be cautious if you are thinking of buying from Prestige Pools. Edit Sep 19: During the 4 months, our spa was open to the elements caused engine damage which has cost us $1.2K to repair. In retrospect, it was silly to let him take the older lid without knowing when a replacement would arrive.
