“5 stars because they’re the first place I’ve seen that has offered a $0.50 discount (minimum spend req.) for BYO sushi container - double thumbs up! The sush itself is probs about 3 stars but I go back for the convenience. Update: they do amazingly delicious poké bowls for lunch - the spicy salmon (pictured) is my personal favourite as it’s fresh and yum”

“Had dinner at Portofino Takapuna, an authentic Italian restaurant by the beach. I ordered the Prosciutto Pizza and Seafood Risotto—both were absolutely amazing. The pizza was perfectly baked with a thin, crispy base and generous toppings, while the risotto was rich, creamy, and full of fresh seafood flavours. A truly delightful dining experience that captures the taste of Italy right here in Takapuna. Highly recommended!”

“Well done to Takanini St Pierres. We usually come here once a week to buy sushi and chicken on rice and some crab nuggets. The staff is always friendly, always making my food fresh and always put cutlery and napkins in our bag. Our cards get stamped promptly and numerous times ive walked in on them cleaning their floors spotless and their toilet is the cleanest ive seen. Theres never dirty containers on the tables and they also care for the people sitting outside of the shop sometimes. If I could give you guys 100 more stars I would. Unfortunately, I learned the yucky way today by going to Karaka St Pierres as I thought I'm closer coming off the motorway. I will never make that mistake again.”

“Amazing food! Loved the starters, pizza, pasta, and dessert. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The other staff were also very nice and efficient. They definitely deserve all the prizes they’ve won for their pizza! I’m more of a pasta gal, but my husband was on pizza induced cloud nine. Probably the most authentic Italian food we’ve had since moving to New Zealand!”

Unfortunately, I have moved away from Auckland so only get to experience it once in a blue moon but it's always a highlight of my trip when I return.”

“When I had ordered my pizza from this lovely restaurant, my pizza had came nice and fresh. It was nice and steamy but the best part was eating it. “Japanese cuisine is always my favourite. It’s the first time I have dined at Daikoku at Botany Town Centre on 16/11/2023. The Japanese manager who greeted me at the entrance of the restaurant was very friendly and hospitable. As I can speak some Japanese, we could have a lovely chat. The Japanese Chef was also very professional and attentive. There were only three of us on the same table so there was not much noise. Food was delicious and I would like to take my husband there some time later. I highly recommend you to come there and enjoy their lunch special if you happen to get near Botany Town Centre.”

“The Bay Sushi in Half Moon Bay is a great spot for a quick and satisfying meal. There was no waiting time, a wide variety of sushi to choose from, and the prices were very reasonable. “I was so impressed with Bake n Beans! I ordered a cake on the spot, and they delivered it beautifully and right on time. The service was absolutely amazing — very friendly, fast, and professional. The cake itself was fresh, delicious, and looked fantastic even on short notice. It’s not easy to find a bakery that can handle last-minute requests with such quality and care, but Bake n Beans did it perfectly. “My wife and I were very glad to come across this restaurant. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable, ample parking, the service was very good, the food looked and tasted delicious. It had a steady flow of Uber drivers. Highly recommend the hot (spicy) sizzling beef platter, but the red curry chicken and peanut garden chicken were also great.”

“I like coming to this shop. It's conveniently located with other shops and has parking right out front. The staff are always friendly and work very hard to ensure there is always a fresh variety of veg and non veg sushi. Their prices are very reasonable. I like buying the half and half, or the daily choice. They have a new promotional wrap which is made from soy bean instead of seaweed. It compares in taste, but is a bit softer which compromise the structure of the sushi a bit, but it's actually quite good.”
