   Had dinner at Portofino Takapuna, an authentic Italian restaurant by the beach. I ordered the Prosciutto Pizza and Seafood Risotto—both were absolutely amazing. The pizza was perfectly baked with a thin, crispy base and generous toppings, while the risotto was rich, creamy, and full of fresh seafood flavours. A truly delightful dining experience that captures the taste of Italy right here in Takapuna. Highly recommended!

   Our family lunch at Portofino Takapuna was delightful. The staff created a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere, making our multi-generational group feel completely comfortable. While we enjoyed excellent pasta dishes, the desserts were exceptional - the rich chocolate cake and creamy ice cream were absolute highlights. What impressed us most was how the restaurant balanced sophisticated dining with genuine family-friendly hospitality. The elegant yet relaxed setting made for a perfect weekend lunch. We particularly appreciated the attentive service that catered to both adults and children with equal care. A truly enjoyable experience we look forward to repeating.

   Not a bad place for food, portion wise it was a bit small than other Portofinos I have been to, other than that could do with more front house staff, the waiter was lovely but working alone while it is lunchtime is a bit too overwhelming, especially for some other diners who had to wait patiently. Nice clean place.

   New location is fantastic, very comfortable booth seating and friendly layout, the staff are extremely polite and accommodating, we had entree's, steaks and 2 x desserts with liqueurs to finish, fabulous time at the new Takapuna Portofino, will be back very soon, well done Team!
