Service was average . Teriyaki chicken needs to be thigh chicken not breast , it was all dry and chewy after sitting there for so long . Tasty but hard to eat .

Previously, I once bought just 1 sushi platter at the Rotorua branch. When I asked how long it would take, they said, “We’ll make it fresh for you. Give us 5 minutes.” But I have already bought sushi platters three times at the Henderson branch, and they always say it will take 30–40 minutes just for 2 platters — Budget Beauty and Chicken Lover. And the one who said that was the manager of the Henderson branch. Please, someone should review that store — their service is really poor. They seem like they don’t want customers to order platters or any menu items other than what’s already in the cabinet. We truly feel disappointed. I have been to three branches — Rotorua, Henderson, and Lincoln Road. The service at the Henderson branch was really unpleasant. Meanwhile, the service at Rotorua and Lincoln Road branches was excellent — they serve wholeheartedly, and they are always willing to make something fresh if I request something new. But the Henderson branch absolutely refused! They told us to just take what’s in the cabinet and claimed it was fresh. However, I was ordering for my baby, who was only 1 year old at the time and was just learning to eat sushi. I even argued with the manager to make a fresh kids sushi platter, but they completely refused, saying the ones on display were already new. So please, Head Office, kindly review the Henderson branch so that their customer service can be improved. Thank you.

Have experienced better quality and customer service especially, at other St Pierre locations. Have come across friendlier staff also at other locations. Rarely come here - only when near by. However - at 5.30pm they looked like they were beginning to pack up although closing time online said 8pm. Staff at the counter hesitated and reluctantly said “yes”, when I asked for half’n’half even though I knew what I was asking for wasn’t todays half’n’half and that I’d be charged full price. Hesitated also when we asked for chicken katsu on rice. It was ok. Today’s experience will be the last for a while.

Have tried a few options here over the last couple of years to give it a fair go. But average quality sushi for the price, at this particular branch. And very rude staff. Average pieces of sushi with small filling (even when you get the Jumbo option). Rice doesn’t seem very fresh even when we have ordered earlier in the morning. Customer service is generally rude. Head office handled it really well on one particularly bad occasion though, which is great because it’s a good franchise generally speaking and other branches seem to have a higher standard. Not the best of the Auckland branches and other better quality sushi options nearby with friendlier staff.

I like coming to this shop. It's conveniently located with other shops and has parking right out front. The staff are always friendly and work very hard to ensure there is always a fresh variety of veg and non veg sushi. Their prices are very reasonable. I like buying the half and half, or the daily choice. They have a new promotional wrap which is made from soy bean instead of seaweed. It compares in taste, but is a bit softer which compromise the structure of the sushi a bit, but it's actually quite good.

Good selection and always looks clean and plenty of choice. The Sushi is getting pretty expensive now for what you get.

These guys are always packing up, sweeping and mopping the floor before closing time. Its a hazard for people to mop the floor with people walking through and putting chairs on top of tables to make it crystal clear they want to go home. Not friendly or welcoming. Super stingy with portion sizes. Never making eye contact just eager to see ACCEPT on the eftpos machine.

Not impressed with the portion sizes for the teriyaki salmon on rice. For $13 all I got was teriyaki rice as the salmon was non existent. And their 8 piece sushi has shrunk, not impressed. You get better value for your money for sushi shops in the City center. This place ain’t what it used to be sadly.

Great food. Tidy clean and well presented place. Bit annoyed that only got 1 stamp on loyalty card when I should have been given 2. 1 per meal. Won't be back to this branch again

I would give it a 2.5 stars if I could. It’s defiantly not up there out of all the sushi I’ve eaten but I didn’t expect anything amazing coming here. It’s good for just a quick bite. This salmon sushi was $6.40 on special so I think that was a good deal, but the normal prices are quite expensive. Also the wasabi was like dough and the ginger was brown and wasn’t fresh.
