   Best pizza I’ve had. Comes with sourdough crust, wasn’t too thin that flopped all over the place and can’t hold the ingredients. Oh soooo good.

   Ordered 2 pizzas and 2 pastas. Staff were aggressive, especially the lady. We asked for regular Coke after seeing cans in the fridge. The bartender served Coke Zero but was corrected by the lady, assuring us it was regular. The drinks tasted off—flat and like Coke Zero. When we asked again, the bartender seemed unsure. We requested cans but were given glasses again. The lady claimed it was “restaurant law” not to serve cans at the table—ridiculous. Pretty sure we got flat Coke from an old bottle. Disappointing service—won’t return. Pizza was good. Pasta was okay. — A Coke Enthusiast.

   been here many times throughout the years, always a great experience! last night we arrived without a reservation and it was full house, we were directed to the sitting by the walls with the tiny tables, we asked to be sitted at the proper table once become available and service were amazing! food is delicious, authentic Italian pasta and pizza. overall great vibe.

   Dante’s Pizzeria is a really sweet and slightly hidden spot in Takapuna! I love going there and the pizza is always amazing! They have a big variety of pizzas and offer small sides, appetisers and pasta dishes too! Their mocktails are delicious and look great! I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone searching for an authentic Italian treat!

   Amazing food! Loved the starters, pizza, pasta, and dessert. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The other staff were also very nice and efficient. They definitely deserve all the prizes they’ve won for their pizza! I’m more of a pasta gal, but my husband was on pizza induced cloud nine. Probably the most authentic Italian food we’ve had since moving to New Zealand!

   Walked pass Dante’s on a Thursday night and was attracted by the menu and the friendly owner standing outside greeting. They have a proper highchair which is a bonus! The owner (assuming) suggested a creamy pasta and a plain simple pizza for us so we can share with my little one. Perfect choices! The pizza dough was so good and apparently fermented for 48 hours, so soft yet chewy with right amount of toppings. My little one enjoyed it so much. The house made pasta was also delicious but doesn’t feel too heavy. The meal was great and the services from all was very welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed it thank you ☺️

   It was too runny. It felt like eating some nice, but a bit soggy towards the middle, bread with half baked tomato juice and chunks of mozzarella cheese. Not sure what happened but it seemed that there was an issue with the oven. The chef binned a pizza coming out of the oven before giving us ours. Not impressed at all.

   The truffle pizza is delicious af. I'm going to dream about it. And now I'm going to have to drive all the way from Greenlane to satisfy my cravings. Why have you done this to me?! Also service was super fast and the staff were lovely. Highly recommend and will be back

   We dined last Saturday and it took more than an hour for the food to arrive! We were informed that there has been a mishap with the printer with our order. They could have at least given us a discount or some sort of compensation for all the trouble. Poor customer service from the staff. The place is not even packed. The pizza was okay but it was definitely much better the first time we visit. We will not be going to this place again and will find other Italian pizza places instead.
