But these legends :) Super responsive from the get go, happy to help, and they sorted everything out without a fuss. They delivered my 230kg Aqua One Brilliance tank perfectly, no drama at all. Even though I’m far away, I’m seriously impressed with how they handled everything. I’d happily buy from them again any day.”

“The man who groomed our dog did an excellent job, probably the best we've ever had for a brush out of our long haired double coated samoyed. Something to note though is that he initially asked if we wanted her trimmed down to a poodle style cut. This indicated that he had no samoyed experience and you would never trim their coat - possibly just hygiene areas. We made sure it was clear no scissor or trimming allowed. We were very worried leaving our girl but the end result was excellent. We will definitely go back again for a wash and brush out. No knots in sight. She also smelled wonderful.”

“We had such a wonderful time at Catfe Mao! The staff are incredibly nice and took the time to tell us the stories behind each cat—you can really tell how much they care for these animals. The place is spotlessly clean, peaceful, and the cats are just adorable. My kids and I were so happy here. Also, a quick shoutout to their milk tea—it’s absolutely delicious! Highly recommend for cat lovers and families.”

“My Labrador loves coming to dog club. They are doing something right because he is super tired when he comes home! The team here are very welcoming and friendly and put us at ease when our boy was a puppy. I love that they post on instagram throughout the day so you can see what the dogs are up to. Vinnie is excited to come visit again soon.”

“The Vineyard Cottages are stunning! I spent a few days here with my friends and family before my wedding at Kumeu Valley Estate. The staff at the Vineyard Cottages are like no other, they are incredible! Everything you could think of was considered and they make your stay extra special. You feel like part of the family when you stay there. The rooms are perfect for 2-3 people to stay in and getting ready for a wedding it’s lovely being able to dip in and out of each others cottages. The small extras are such a luxury - mini jams, lovely bread, milk and juice in classic bottles and if you book the bridal package the breakfast platter is incredible. I would highly recommend this venue to any brides and her friends looking for a lovely setting before the big day or for anyone looking for a lovely relaxing escape in the country. An added bonus is the beautiful backdrop for photos! Thank you again Rae, Ellie and co ❤️ we will be back!”

“The best vet clinic ever! As a first-time puppy owner, I’ve had so many questions, and Deborah has been absolutely amazing. She takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, never rushes, and answers all my questions with so much patience and care. The entire team is wonderful—Ellie actually enjoys going to the vet and happily greets every nurse there! Their email communication is also excellent. Nastassja been really helpful with email queries. Highly recommend!”

He gave detailed information, gave options and treated both my son and I and dog sensitively and professionally and had a lot of knowledge to share and patience. Thank you very much.”

When our fur babies crossed the rainbow bridge a few years ago, Russell and his team were there to help us through it and even took time on the weekend to ensure that our Rindy had a gentle passing. They are the best vet team ever!”

“The St Lukes vets are such a professional and caring clinic - I am very happy to have chosen them for our dogs. We have unfortunately had to put a dog down there and they were super caring, talked through my options and helped make the awful process as kind and humane as possible - all the while I kept blubbering. They have seen our animals on very short notice when we thought they were in pain and even rung us to move appointments up when they thought the issue should be addressed sooner. They have rung to see how the dogs are the day after care and been super friendly, kind and professional. Highly recommend”

“The hosts, Bryan and Margaret were wonderful...! They would go the extra mile to accommodate their guests wants and needs. The facility and the rooms were very clean, and the beds were of good quality and very comfortable. Breakfast was always a pleasant experience with good food and conversations with the other guests that might last a couple hours. A very personable experience. The only down-side was the distance from the airport. Cab fee is spendy, but with a call, Miss Margaret may be able to make less expensive transportation arrangements.”

“Our dog ate a starfish which was a pretty stressful experience as we had no idea whether it was toxic or not. The vet that we saw here was very professional and helped us weigh up the risks and ultimately we got a good outcome for our pup. Very knowledgeable and helpful.”

“Such a lovely stay. Rooms are comfortable and furnished well. So much more personality than a hotel or motel. Consider splurging for the room with the king bed and porch - it’s so nice to enjoy the city skyline at night. The manager was incredibly personable. A perfect option and so glad we found it.”

“I have brought a stray cat to Town and Country to get some vet care recently. Sophie, the vet nurse, was very helpful from the beginning when I called to make an appointment, to help contact the original owner and follow through. It’s a long story but I really appreciate Sophie’s help and time. She has demonstrated how much they care about animals from these small details. I would say this level of care is hardly found in other clinics. Thank you again.”
