“Four women in our early 60s, we've been friends for 40 years. One living overseas, one in the South Island, two in Auckland, we catch up for a weekend once every 18 months or so. We had the most wonderful time at Blue Tides. It was perfect accommodation for us. We could spread out, each had a room of our own, views to die for, and everything we needed. Highly recommend!”

“I highly recommend Roomie! We stayed in February 2025. We are from Ireland, and we used Roomie as a base when travelling around NZ . We had all the security of a hotel and all the freedom of an apartment. The beds were comfortable and the apartments were very comfortable and clean.The water pressure in the shower was great . We had lovely showers there. The staff were wonderful, every time you went to the desk you knew you would get help with a smile. I can't complement them enough. The communication via email before our stay was prompt and helpful. We had connections to Avondale so it was an ideal location for us but if you don't have any connections to Avondale, it is still a great location as the train is across the road from the apartment hotel. You can get the train to New Lynn and there is a mall there with a big supermarket or to Mt Albert to Pak N' Save a cheaper supermarket. It also goes to Britomart, where you can get to the viaduct in central Auckland. There is also a shop around the corner if you need some essentials. Try to book direct as you get some extra perks like free laundry and early check-in than if you use a 3rd party website.”

“We booked 3 studio rooms for Hot wheels monster trucks event. Rooms are lovely, warm, comfy and clean. All very well, we hope for this as standard. AEPM told standard to hold their beer and boot it. Courtesy call day before event re: early road closures as we were traveling up to AK. Checked us in and allowed us parking from 11am. Warm and informative welcome with the gate to Eden park laughably close. I haven't even left yet and I'm side eyeing the experience as narniac in its unassuming, hidden gem state. Will be back without doubt.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay at Quest Mt Eden was outstanding! The apartment was incredibly spacious, immaculately clean, and so well thought out—everything we needed was right at our fingertips. The layout was efficient and comfortable, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. The location is also ideal—close to Auckland City’s attractions, dining, and entertainment, yet peaceful and quiet at night. A special mention to the front office reception team who were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and super helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Auckland!”

The historical home is beautiful, and the breakfast was so tasty! John was super knowledgable about NZ sights and points of interest- it was great to hear the story and history of the house as well!”

From the moment we arrived until our departure, the staff were simply amazing. We finally managed to visit the beautiful Library Lounge (it was booked for a private event the night before), and what a treat it was! “Wonderful hospitality property in convenient pacific location. Well appointed warm rooms and amazing amenities. Competent staff service with excellent support for old age customers. Pool, park, lobby, business room, entrance and restaurant area facilities are maintained to a Hyatt high standard. Delightful breakfast meals plan with fresh coffee. Any tourist friendly members are treated very well here. Great place to stay in the city. Highly recommended hotel brand see you again”

“I really enjoyed my one-night stay at this hotel excellent value for money. Upon arrival, the staff were friendly and even checked us in earlier than the usual 2pm time. The room was large, very clean, and the TV offered plenty of options. My only small feedback would be that the pillows were a bit firm for my liking. I slept well regardless, the shower was refreshing in the morning, and the breakfast was simple yet satisfying. Overall, a great stay I would definitely return next time I’m in Auckland. Thank you!”

“Amazing hostel! The staff were incredible especially Diego, he recommended us walks and was very helpful during our stay. The hostel is right next to the beach and a bus stop so it’s easy to get around the island. Just a really nice vibe place!”

“Really nice place atmosphere qas really good, got the big cup and really good portions with good flavor. We used to go to Golden sands alot but this will be new breakfast place. Price $$ good for a breakfast place. Food was a really good portion and was tasty. Customer service was excellent. Only issue was the knives weren't really sharp so it struggled to cut the sour dough bread. Still great experience. Overall rating 5/5 would highly recommend.”

“Took our springer spaniel in today for his first groom! Have been trying to do it ourselves with mixed results. So glad we took him in, such a great result and a calm happy boy on pick up. Really appreciate that the groomer took time to introduce him to the clippers so it was a low stress environment. Don't think we will go back to DIY grooming after this!”

“Sooty Sue is a smart and very stubborn dog. When she’s in the mood she is co-operative, when she’s not well …… you get the picture. She must always feel co-operative when she’s at Jolly Dogs for a groom! Not sure how they do this, but I’m a-taking it. I know this because her lack of co-operation has left her ears and groin and auxiliary areas clipped and bleeding, but it has NEVER happened a Jolly Dogs. We also like her to have a cut that reflects her dufus nature, and her Jolly Dogs Mohawk is perfect.”

“I bought 2 cute little fish from here. Good deal. And I bought some treats for my cats. Heaps of selection of aquarium fish and pet foods. Heaps of stuff special. Customer service was very nice. The guy explained to me how to look after my fish's and fish tank. We will be back.”

“I love this vet clinic. I have taken Pickle to see Chris, KV and a few temps and all the vets have been fantastic. Very caring, give honest advice and don't overcharge. Rachael and the nurses are also very lovely to deal with. I highly recommend.”
