When I first met her she was wearing a beautiful Kiekie (traditional Tongan clothes) for the week of the language, while assisting me in what to gift my partner she educated me on all of the things she learnt while barbering. The experience felt so personal and her connection felt so sincere it was like making a true friend. Will 100% be back again.”

“Pretty big store with plenty of variety of household items. Briscoes have always some kind of sale going on. So we always wait for sale on the item I need. Towels, toaster and other kitchen items, travel bags and accessories etc all available. The quality of goods is excellent. I hardly have to return any faulty items. Ambiance is good and it’s always welcoming to come over for shopping. The staff are friendly and courteous. Help out when you need something. Plenty of parking available around the store.”

“I mentioned in passing to Joanne that an appliance I had purchased several years ago had developed a fault, but was now well out of warranty. Otherwise I was very happy with the appliance. Nonplussed, Joanne immediately said she would follow up with manufacturer. Within a week rep visited and remedied the fault for us, no charge. Thanks for the proactive and thoughtful service. Will be back to buy our next appliance from Able Appliances in due time.”

“We bought a TV unit knowing it was a pre order. We were given the date of when the boat would arrive and when they would be unpacking and sending out. It arrive a lot earlier than i expected it to so I'm super happy with that. The unit itself is amazing, very sturdy and instructions were super easy to read. Very nice owner (I assume owner) very friendly even when we came in as he was just closing up shop for the night. We got a beautiful NZ made bookshelf for $299, which is half the price in other stores. I would recommend this shop to anyone :)”

It fits perfectly in the Greek-temple style of the wooden mausoleum I build in my garden for the ashes of my deceased lovely wife for contemplation. (see photo) Secondly: The timber- and finish- quality are excellent too. Thirdly: The construction is perfect and putting it together was easy and intuitive (if you have done something like that before) it took me 15 minutes. He built 2 new decks, completely renovated a kitchen and downstairs bathroom (including new flooring throughout) plus a number of other tasks. He supplied and managed other subcontractors well and everything he completed to a very high standard (and my expectations are high!) ...and on budget. He was always very prompt in arriving each day and communicated clearly his progress. It's hard to find good tradespeople and I will always use Champion Builders for all my building and renovation needs.”
