Really nice furniture which feels affordable when the sale is on. The staff were super friendly and when I mentioned I had just moved in they recommended I visit their outlet store!
I want to commend Dee who gave me one of the most incredible customer experiences I've had in my life and I have travelled the world and worked at 5-star and 6-star resorts and on SuperYachts! Dee went over and beyond with her service. She met with me and gave me clear directions to pickup my item. She was patient as I was agitated from a long drive and had to park over the line of a disability park due to another person parking over the line of my carpark. I drove 2.5 hours to pickup a mirror I purchased from this store and it was on dangerous roads with the busy Labour Weekend! Dee helped me get it into my car as I was on my own, giving direction and support so that I could do the long drive home safely. She was absolutely fantastic and I am in love with the mirror. Now when I look at it, I think of her and the wonderful customer experience. You don't get that service often and she deserves to be commended. I called the store to let her manager know as well! Thanks Dee!!
Termite-infested furniture. I am appalled. At $3k I expected better.
Attentive staff, quick to help and determine if they had additional stock in store. Prompt service to pay and price point was good for the quality.
I saw an item that had status sold out online and enquired via live chat whether it was available in store. The customer service rep I spoke to said the item was only available in Hamilton or Wairau Park. Drove to the Shore only to find out that there was only the display model that was not being sold, and no new order had been placed so it would take 3-5 months to receive the table. This is obviously not the store's fault, but Early Settlers are time wasters. On the other hand, an item that was available online was only in store in Hamilton. So you can't buy the items you can view, and you can't view the items you can't buy.
Last week Friday I went in to have a noisy as I usually do and ended up buying a couch from the absolute lovely ladies working that day. They were the friendliest people and customer service was 10/10. I am so thrilled with my purchase and by far this has been one of the best shopping experiences I’ve had. Thanks so much to the lovely manager and her team. You guys are incredible.

One of my go to shops for furniture and home decor. Always loved the style of Coastal, Hamptons, French country/farmhouse. Great selections for dinning, bedroom, lounge. Prices are comparable to other trusted furniture sellers, you can see the quality of the make and the materials. Never been disappointed with my purchases and they have lasted for years. They also have very friendly staff and customer service.
