“Tasty food and super friendly service with generous portions”

“Popped in very close to closing time without a booking and they kindly let us dine. We felt like something light and fresh so we got the wontons, kimchi and a couple of the salads - all the ingredients were so fresh and delicious! I have been to Blue Breeze Inn many times over the years and it has never disappointed. Yummy food, lovely atmosphere, exceptional service always. Highly recommend.”

“I really enjoyed my meal AND the dessert! It was quite a treat, at an affordable price and great quality. The eggs Benedict wasa great portion size and perfectly cooked. I also had an orange almond cake - yummy... The coffee was great. This cafe is somewhat slightly hidden , but it's worth finding it !”

The average price range is around $21, making it a bit expensive, but the consistently recommended food quality and quantity make it worthwhile and fulfilling. Personally, I enjoy their crispy chicken with rice and braised pork belly on rice.”

“Hands down favourite dumplings in the whole wide world has to be the pork and chive in spicy sauce. Their ‘hot’ is not to be underestimated, but even though it burns a little for me it’s well worth it. Dan dan noodles a nice accompaniment to the dumplings but not a must. Portion sizes are huge so always go for the Small if in doubt. Fell in love with the original Basu Lounge in Takapuna but I really rate their Browns Bay location more.”

“We had dinner with my wife's family In cafe Hanoi a few weeks back and it was amazing. The food was delicious, the staff was really engaging and the dining setup was impressive. The food standout for the Taste, presentation and Verity of different dishes. I would love to come back again next time while we are staying in Auckland.”

“Friendly staff. The restaurant was almost full so I would recommend booking a table beforehand. The waiting time was short and we didn't have to wait long for our food after we ordered. The food was delicious and made with good quality ingredients that is better than other Chinese restaurant nearby. The dish sizes are large, so it's a ideal restaurant for family and/or friend gatherings. I was happy when I saw one of the staff put a dropped table cloth into a bin for cleaning instead of using it anyway, good hygiene practices. Will come again!”

“Very welcoming and friendly customer service. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived. Our food came out quick, it was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. My favourite was the kumara wedges I really enjoyed that as well as my chicken apricot burger. The lovely waitress who served us from the moment we walked in was super sweet and lovely! I had an issue with my drink and she took it away and fixed it right away still smiling. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating available, it’s a lovely setup. Next time we’ll try the ribs as it looked so good when the waiter walked past with them to the other table.”

“Their Chung fin is very tasty although their trading hours are quite questionable. They don’t open later for dinner. When you come here to buy food past 5pm you will have to pray they still have the food you want”

“Awesome cafe in Howick. We ordered the Beef croquettes, Salmon Eggs Benny and a simple Cheese Toastie. All came out hot and at the same time. All were delicious, especially the Croquettes. My only negative was a few things I originally wanted were not available. We will be back”

“Absolutely delicious food and decent service. The food couldn’t have been better absolutely chefs kiss as always! Service was good though was a bit disappointed that when the waitress poured our water she spilt quite a bit over the table and said she’d be back to clean it up but never did so we ended up using a serviette. Atmosphere was nice. Overall a really good experience. Definitely recommend if you want good food! Just bear in mind that it is pricey”

“I went to Caffe E Cucina for a tinder date (which went pretty well, I think she likes me!) for lunch, and had a great time. We ordered different kinda small plates from the prima section of the menu and shared those which worked well as we weren't super hungry. The service was good, and prices not toooo bad. The food was definitely the highlight (after the company) with everything cooked to perfection. Seared tuna blew my mind.”
