Ate here twice while we were in Auckland, very convenient location as we were staying at Hotel DeBrett and so could grab breakfast here before heading off to the airport! Ambiance was wonderful of course, the airy courtyard and art deco style made this a very pleasant environment. Even though others were around at other tables, we didn't have to wait to get seated and it was easy to talk to each other. We first had drinks and snacks (all of us liked the focaccia here), and returned for breakfast, our last meal in Auckland. Can confirm the pancakes were delicious, as was DeBrett's Cooked. The latter comes with a lot of food, I especially liked the hash browns and roasted mushrooms (also includes eggs, chorizo, bacon, baked beans, toasted bread). The tea selection was also excellent, and I enjoyed the cute cup it came in!

What a excellet find, I saw online they are now dog friendly. So Edie and I checked it out at 9am on a Saturday for breakfast.... it deserved to be packed, but there was plenty of room, with relaxed sofa area, booths and tables. Lot's to choose from for breakfast.. I got a classic style breakfast and it's one of the best i have had for a long time.

Had a great dinner celebrating my friend’s birthday there. The atmosphere was superb-quiet, cozy, and with the perfect ambiance for a relaxed evening. We tried the Restaurant Month August 2025 menu, and the prices were reasonable for such a fine restaurant. Our three different entrΓ©es all looked beautiful and were thoughtfully presented. The eye fillet was good. What really stood out, though, were the desserts. Each one was delicious, which makes me think they have a good pΓ’tissier on their team. Would definitely love to go back!

Last night, after dinner was done, we went on a wild goose chase to find the holy grail of coffee and dessert spots - and boy, did we hit the mother lode with this place! The coffee was off the charts and the apple crumble was so divine it should have its own fan club - the chef is a culinary rock god! We also fell head over heels for the staff's super friendly vibes, especially Pranav, who's probably the nicest human on the planet. We ended up coming back for breakfast today and it was totally worth it - we can't recommend this place enough and we're already counting down the days until our next visit!

We had a wonderful time, the food was amazing, the drinks were spectacular and the vibe was great! Will definitely be back to experience tea at Debretts again!

First time experiencing a High tea. A variety of bite sized treats. Lots of teas to pick from. The "private room" we were in was dated/boring. The music was abit loud and boring for the theme (roaring 20's). Have been and done it. Lots of communication when booking. We paid $59 per person we were a large group of 18 plus a room fee..

It was a real treat to spend a couple of hours doing something different . I can definitely say the Tipsy High Tea is the way to go . Was well worth it . Perfect for a rainy Sunday afternoon.

We only came here for an afternoon drink so I can't comment on the food but the atmosphere was so nice I would've stayed for dinner if we had the time. Lovely atrium setting with art deco furnishings. Check out the bar and dining room too - loved the feel. Service was excellent and the drinks were not too expensive. It was a god spot to get away from the grime of the city for quiet drink
