   It’s not often I start writing a review before I’ve even finished my meal — unfortunately, this was one of those times. I ordered the V-Twin burger with vegan cheese and aioli. While the mushroom patty had decent flavour, it was extremely dry and fell apart with every bite, making the burger difficult to eat. The bun was fairly average, though the vegetables were fresh. There was a good amount of sauce, however the addition of beetroot felt unnecessary. It added mess rather than flavour and didn’t enhance the overall experience. I paired the burger with the beer-battered fries. They arrived piping hot and crunchy, but were overwhelmingly greasy and excessively salty. Finally, the chocolate oat thickshake — which I was genuinely excited about — was a major disappointment. It had a strong, musty oat flavour and was honestly unpleasant to drink. A possible improvement here would be switching the oat base to soy, which is often much creamier and better suited to thickshakes. On a positive note, the young staff were genuinely friendly and the service was impressively quick. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t justify the price point — it felt far too expensive for what was provided. I do appreciate that vegan options are available, but this was one of the worst vegan meals I’ve had. I would strongly encourage sticking with a more reliable plant-based option, such as a patty from trusted suppliers like Impossible or Beyond Burger. I’d happily pay more for these brands, knowing the quality and consistency they offer.

   Want last week to get the bacon backfire.. seriously you can tell the team love working here with their chilled vibes , making the customers feel welcome and most importantly the quality of the burgers are legendary .. such a nice place to murder a burger!

   Unfortunetly this evening we got over cooked burnt kumera fries, and the chicken fenders were way smaller than we had had previously, looked like one peice cut into 3. Burger was massive but not tatsy at all. Oat shakes were nice. For the amount i soent their this evening ( $90 odd ) i ended up taking my kids to get more food somewhere else as the kumera fries were thrown in the bin and the chicken didnt fill them up. Was a VERY expensive experience

   I visited this place on Monday the 15th, around 1 PM, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The staff member who served me seemed very disinterested, and the customer service was poor. The burger I ordered was the worst I’ve had here: the vegetarian patty was only half, there was a single slice of tomato, and no sauce; the other burger came without lettuce and with a very small patty. I had visited last week with my partner and we both really enjoyed our burgers, which is why we returned. Sadly, this time, what we got for our money was very disappointing. It’s unfortunate, because it’s a local place with potential, but I will not be returning or recommending it after this experience. Edit: I bought this at the Whangaparaoa store. Thanks for your reply. I’m disappointed that I still have to email after explaining everything your customer service could definitely be improved

   Ordered online. Delivery was completely wrong (a venison burger and motobites instead of 3 beef burgers and fries). Called to say they got it wrong. They called a manager who said “not our problem”. Unreal. Worst customer service imaginable. No food and a $70 bill

   I called in to order three burgers and, for the first time ever, they asked what time I would like it to be ready for. Something so small made a big difference because our food was still nice and warm on arrival. Thanks, team, for your smiles as we walked in and the delicious food!

   Rev up your engines because it’s time to make a pit stop at Burger Fuel. Using high-spec hydro flavour technology, they have managed to keep me motoring for longer. Especially the bbq bacon roadster and the spawn of unmarried people….you’ll know when you get there. Worth the price for what you get and tasty too!

   Pretty good service, but what is that? look at the photos, they don't even have any salad in it, please hire people that actually care about what they do, not paying 18 dollars for a burger that is worse than what a random bakery could do lol
