   Best hot chips - always crispy but fluffy inside, and super hot and fresh. Love their roast rolls. They ran out of rolls so I got a roast pork burger instead and the filling was very generous. Crackling is also delicious. Lovely family too - always friendly service.

   Stopped in on a whim and so impressed!! Husband had the roast (lamb) and I had F&C (snapper, hot dog, chips). The chips were perfect and the snapper was big and tasted fresh. Roast was good too - potatoes were tops! If we were nitpicking then slightly heavy handed with the salt on the F&C and lamb was a bit fatty, but very minor critiques overall. Wish we lived nearby!

   Think this is my husbands new fave place! The staff know him well and ask about the kids haha. Super friendly, kind. Portions are big for the roasts, priced well. Always tasty! Hot chips are good and generous portions. Burgers are reasonably priced.

   Whenupai roast catered for my event and boy did they do a great job. They were super friendly and wanted to hear about my story. The food was delicious and on time, I highly recommend getting the wontons in your order.

   The portion size was generous for the price, which was great. However, the fish and batter didn’t quite come together—they felt separate, with the batter just sitting on top of the fish rather than sticking to it. The fries could’ve been crispier; they were slightly undercooked. That said, for what you pay, it’s still a fair meal overall.

   Got 2 x roasts from here this week. Great service and selection. The portion sizes were excellent (And we are big eaters). Medium land for my wife, and a large pork for me and both of us had left overs for lunch the next day. Have rated as 4 star as the lamb roast was quite tough, and excess fat had not been cut off
