   Yesterday, I stopped by this shop late in the day. The potatoes had already sold out, so the owner served pumpkin instead—and it turned out to be a real delight. It was pure roasted pumpkin: simple, wholesome, and absolutely delicious.

   Has this place changed hands lately? This was my go to for many many years but tonight was so disappointing I will not be ordering from here ever again. I used Uber eats and I ordered 1 roast chicken meal, 1 roast lamb meal, 2 pieces of chicken with 1x potato, kumara and pumpkin. My order arrived completely missing the roast chicken meal. I called the store and the owner answered. He told me he did not get the roast chicken meal order only the extra pieces of chicken on the side and my lamb one. He told me to check my order. I did and sure enough I had ordered the chicken meal he just forgot it. He told me on the phone your order is cancelled now, I'll check it tomorrow. I told him that was unacceptable and I wanted it resolved now. He repeated himself over and over to the point I had to hang up on him. Luckily I could request a refund thru Uber. Next the quality of my lamb meal. Oh my God it's terrible. Its drowning in dark brown gravy which tastes more like some kinda Asian sauce then a gravy, the peas and carrots are watery, the lamb is just a bunch of off cuts with fat and chewy skin. It was terrible and pretty much in edible. Maybe my husband was lucky his meal didn't arrive because I wonder how good his one would have been if my one was to go by.

   Ordered a large mixed roast meal and got 7 huge pieces of potato to take up most of the container, got no chicken no lamb just a few small slices of beef, a couple tiny pieces of pork too much gravy wasnt nice. The potatoes are not tasty not crunchy taste stale.. Ordered a pork roll, it's completely cold and the delivery was only 3minutes away.. ordered crackle it's like a rock.. Ordered a large snack box, more yucky potatoes the only nice part was the 2 drumsticks.. feeling completely ripped off. This is sad you knew what you were doing sending this food away, What was supposed to be a treat for my family became $60 down the drain. How are you still in business. Shocking.

   Has been my local roast shop since i can remember! Great roasts and really nice milk shakes. The chicken pieces are good too. Only thing is over the years their rating has fluctuated the lowest being a E rating how ever the owner seem to have it on lock now with a good rating. Its only a takeaway no where to dine in.
