   Finally got to try the gin teapot cocktail - absolutely amazing. Plenty for two people. I ordered the chicken mushroom bacon pasta and it was unbelievable! Great serving size and the flavour was incredible. Thanks for the birthday brownie, too!

   Came in for breakfast and the amount of time it took for the eggs and pancakes to arrive given there was like 5 other people there is ridiculous- incredibly slow The scones weren’t fresh like they claimed they were toasted and not soft and fluffy - and $7 what a rip off. Almost 30 minutes for kids eggs on toast -what the actual. And the Oreo pancakes Took longer- definitely not returning here- best to ask - how long will the food take before ordering if you are planning a quick feed to start your day.

   Awesome cafe in Howick. We ordered the Beef croquettes, Salmon Eggs Benny and a simple Cheese Toastie. All came out hot and at the same time. All were delicious, especially the Croquettes. My only negative was a few things I originally wanted were not available. We will be back

   We had the Chicken pasta which was quite nice and with good ingredient but the portion was on the small side. Also had the Biscoff Muffin and that was OK, very dry and crumbly. Service was slow though even though it was almost empty at the time. The fries took forever to come.

   Went there for a Saturday lunch. Cafe wasn't very busy. But it took them 45 mins to get the big breakfast ready and send it to the wrong table. Had to wait another 20 minutes to remake it. Too slow, but food was good.

   Excellent cafe. A total reboot from the days gone by when the food used to be stale and the coffee weak and insipid. Now the coffee was superb, the spicy chai was great and the food was perfect! The boysenberry donut did not disappoint and the Ginger Gem was Crisp on the outside and feather light and fluffy inside. Another pleasing addition butter (real butter) in a small ramican too! Yes these new owners know what they are doing. Fresh faces behind the counter and a whole new attitude brings this cafe back to life. The decor is fresh and crisp and the addition of a flower shop inside brings the occasional scent of fresh flowers across the table. Well done! You used to walk past and see no customers, today business was humming, I can see and taste why.
