Nothing mind-blowing, but nice to see some Asian cuisine options around the area Can be quite busy during lunchtime due to the amount of offices nearby Was asked if fried chicken was okay when ordering the curry, which was a little confusing but I guess it implies that there might be other options available? But wasn't told about it by the waitress Unfortunately there is no parking available nearby, can probably find some within walking distance but probably expensive Prices were not cheap and unfortunately no discounts offered for office workers working nearby

We visited Paper Crane for a team lunch and I ordered the crispy spicy chicken. The portion size was reasonable but not quite sufficient for the price. Unfortunately, the chicken turned out to be quite dry, it seemed like an attempt to make it crispy, but thereβs a clear difference between achieving crispness and over-drying the meat. I also checked with my colleagues, as four of us ordered the same dish, and everyone shared similar feedback. Overall, a bit disappointing given the expectations.

Weekday lunches are guaranteed at this restaurant, which is conveniently located next to a sushi shop. I frequently visit with my colleagues for a slightly upscale lunch. The average price range is around $21, making it a bit expensive, but the consistently recommended food quality and quantity make it worthwhile and fulfilling. Personally, I enjoy their crispy chicken with rice and braised pork belly on rice.

A popular lunch destination, and recommend booking. I had the crispy chicken ramen which came with a complimentary miso soup. Delicious chicken which was skewered and perched across the top of the ramen soup to keep it crispy. Ramen broth was milky looking, overall a tasty dish. The crispy chicken on rice didnβt disappoint, was delicious with generous pieces of crispy chicken.

Very good lunch place at viaduct harbour. My favourite is the crispy chicken on rice but all other dishes are tasty. They only open during weekdays. Good for a quick lunch if you are around the area.

Nice lunch spot in the wynyard quarter. The Dandan noodles was very rich and all the dishes were of great value and taste. Would highly recommend and I would go back again to taste more of their menu

First time being there, we wanted to go to Japanese Restaurant and this place is the nearest from where we were then. We initially wanted Sashimi Don (forgot what the name of menu was exactly) but they are out of order which was quite disappointing to be honest, but instead ordered Ramen which was great. Meat Bun tastes good and quite filling too. We went there around 11:30 when not many are there, but around 12ish, pretty much packed. If you want to avoid business, come early or later.

Been here several times now. Iβve invited colleagues and recommend this place to several people. No disappointments so far! My favourite dish would have to be the salmon as itβs just always done so perfectly, not over cooked and the complimentary sauce and topping just make it my top pick. I have a thing for fried chicken too and theirs is no slouch on how chicken should be fried up! I did expect alittle more spice to the spicy chicken and I feel itβs alittle mild. Overall still a great tasting dish. Iβd highly recommend Paper Crane for work lunches! IMPORTANT! Book before hand as it gets really packed really quickly into lunch time! Place is alittle small too.. but thatβs not entirely their fault
