   We cruised in on the Red Boat. Climbed up the steps and were immediately greeted by staff who seated us and from then on the service was prompt, friendly and efficient! There were a good variety of mains to choose from, generous proportions and very flavoursome. The highlight has to be the desserts! We had 2 1/2 very pleasant relaxing hours at the Riverhead. Recommended!

   Tasty Food, we came at a very busy time but were seated immediately. Food and drinks were also quick to arrive. We got the ribs and the fish and chips, both very good quality. The dessert was utterly delectable.

   We had an excellent dinner last night at The Landing in Riverhead, booked through First Table. Set right on the river, the location is a standout — peaceful, scenic, and a perfect spot to unwind as the sun goes down. The relaxed riverside setting added real atmosphere to an already enjoyable evening. Service was professional and attentive, and the food was well-executed — fresh, flavourful, and attractively presented. Portions were just right, and the pacing between courses was well judged. The wine list featured some good local selections, and the First Table discount made the meal great value for the quality. Overall, The Landing combines a superb riverside location with polished service and well-prepared food — a place we’ll definitely return to - next time via the ferry which stops at The Landing!

   I booked a dinner at The Landing and wasn’t sure what to expect as I knew the area as riverhead tavern and expected the classic pub food . I was wrong , and the food was really good, I travel a lot for work and eat in many restaurants and this was one of the good ones. It was a nice quiet cosy warm atmosphere with enough privacy to be able to talk to each other and not too much noise . I had the confit pork as an entree which was probably the most tender pork I have ever had and the maker fish which was really good too. As for desert km a sucker for sticky date pudding so went with that, Service was super friendly and attentive , but not annoying in your face alll the time , and food arrived very quickly for each course . I would definitely go back again.

   Met friends here for an early lunch, lots of space for big groups. The food, the service, the wine pairing was superb. Thanks for making our time enjoyable. It was raining so didn’t get to enjoy the outside area but will return a sunny day for wine and cheese by the river. Recommend the Pan fried dumplings & beer batter fish n chips.
