“We were a group of 16 and had an enjoyable lunch. Friendly helpful staff and a range of food meeting the appetite of different people.”

“The food was served warm and fresh. Meals ordered was scrambled egg with toast and Omelette w tomatoes, mushroom and onion. My partner said the omelette was amazing. The scrambled egg was moist and tasty. Coffees were cappuccino and flat white , both coffees were very well made. A few things that could been a little better is adding another slice of toast to the omelette one was not enough for my partner. The toasts are considerably small. The flat white was a little tepid, however it didn't take away from the experience and flavour of the meals and drinks.”

“This place is awesome and you can’t cut it any other way. They were out of hot meat pies when we arrived but they did have a meat pie in their cold case that they could heat up so what’s the difference? It was tasty! The desserts were incredible and the sandwiches were lovely as well. They also had lots of different groceries so we picked up different snacks and beverages. They even had nag champa! We ate our sandwiches on a little table overlooking the beach. This place is a gem and it was open super early in spring around August-September.”

“Great breakfasts. Good thing was the eggs were soft. Waitresses need to be trained though. Delivered our coffee but walked away without clearing last guests plates and cups. Needed to call her back. Didn't know which coffees she was delivering either. So we had to decide what the coffee was ourselves. Delivered a cappuccino and thought it was a hot chocolate.”

“Me and my partner come every Saturday or Sunday morning and are met with exceptional customer service every week. The lovely lady always remembers our order and refers to it as the usual. Little details like this really make this experience amazing. The chef creates incredible food that we always enjoy. We are seriously treated amazing.”

“Walked past some nice smelling food so couldn’t resist popping in. The Palau took a while to make and was pretty oily, but it tasted good! Dahl with lamb curry was yummy too, my kid couldn’t stop eating the lamb. Definitely returning here.”

“This place is a whole vibe! Randomly rocked in at around 2am w my tane who has never done karaoke before. Booked the private room and had a choice time! Great selection of songs old and new, easy to use and in english! Woman on the bar was kind enough to extend our time by 15mins since they were nearly closing. Chilled atmosphere and close to home. Thank you for a cool experience we will def be back!”

“Such a great day for it. Stunning views to relax and enjoy a meal and a cold beer. A popular little spot at brunch time on a Saturday. I had the Slow Cooked Pork Ribs with Salad and Fries. The meat fell off the bone and was succulent with a tasty lightly spiced sauce. They were delish! The fries were cooked in a really nice fresh oil and were very moreish. The salad was fresh with a lovely zingy dressing. My husband had the Fish and Chips. The fish was perfectly cooked. Again, the salad and fries were awesome too. Staff cleared the table quickly.”

“Both the ganjajang and jjamppong were delicious. I ordered the large portions, and the servings were so big it was almost overwhelming. At first, I thought the place was closed because the lighting was so dim, but I realized it was open after taking a closer look. The staff were also very friendly. However, the atmosphere felt a bit gloomy, which made it seem like the staff were lacking energy, and I felt sorry about that. I hope you stay strong and continue serving your delicious food.”

“Hi all, we grabbed two Hell pizzas for lunch the other day – takeout, of course. It's definitely not Italian, don't even try comparing it! Honestly, it's way better than Pizza Hut or Domino's. Yeah, it's that American-style pizza. I ate a bit more than I planned (four stars for the American style, though!). Service was quick and easy, no problems. “Seriously one of the best indian restaurants in auckland! the onion bhaji, samosa chaat and lamb nawabi dishes were a particular hit in our family. The naan is to die for, buttery almost like roti, might not be too everyone’s taste but our kids couldn’t get enough of it. Looks a bit dated walking in but don’t be tricked, would highly recommend!”

“My new fav yum char and i have been to loads of top ones in Auckland. Such great flavour, choose from menu and they cook to order so its super fresh and hot. Its in an old building with great views over the city. It's definitely a great spot for a bunch of people to yum char together.”

“Was recommended to come here for the Lambs Fry, so I made the trek out to this little cafe and it dosent disappoint. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! The food was homely and very satisfying as well. They have a whole range of food items, hot or cold! Of course there are espresso based drinks, as well as alcoholic if you want a cold brew! There are lovely little tables inside to sit at, or there are tables littered all over the courtyard!”

“My husband and I went to Bar Savannah on Wednesday night for their Steak and Chips special for only $18, and it was such great value! The steak was a good 200 grams — cooked nicely — and came with a generous serving of chips and a fresh salad. The food was really good, and the service was excellent. The staff were all friendly, and Raj looked after us the entire time. He was great! We also loved that they have pool tables, which we played on while waiting for our food. Overall, a great experience!”
