We always got our Fish and Chips from Ripples especially as we like the fat chips. Got our order today and was very disappointed. The chips were shoe string (thin chips) and everything was over cooked and dry. The only thing that wad edible was the potato hash Browns. Very disappointing.

Ripples used to be great when the previous owners had it but now under new management....come on you really need to step it up, I've seen 5 star reviews on here and I'm sure they don't go out much....the service is hit and miss....can be waiting over 40 minutes and that's not when busy and that's just for a coffee....foods average for what pay for, the toilets were filthy and stunk and the staff need to sharpen up if their going to be in the service industry.....it's a real shame because it's in a great spot.

The worst takeaway weβve had in years. $120 worth of garbage. The chips looked like they had been scooped from a gutter. Discolored and dried out. Probably old chips refried. Nothing like the great food from previous owners!! Wonβt be back there evet

Me and my girlfriend went here on a Sunday that was very quiet. We ordered a few little things like 2 scoops of chips and some onion rings. The food took over 40 minutes and when I asked where the food was they said it was there shortly but as I glanced it hadnβt even been fried and was sitting in the fryer getting fried all together in the same basket. When we got the food the kΕ«mara chips were nice and so were the chips and the battered sausage but the 2 servings of onion rings we ordered came in a bag with 3 small onion sings the size of an engagement ring. Overall food quality was not terrible but not worth the portion sizes and the wait ( everything costed 30 dollars in total which was too much in my opinion.) things to note: also came in an Uber eats bag which was strange.

Heard about this little gem from family that found it on a day trip, they were addiment that we should try it and I must say we were impressed. Staff was really friendly, service and food was great and being able to finish dinner off with an ice-cream, strolling along the marina, that sealed the deal.

I got the eggs Benedict it was absolutely disgusting the muffins were old i could not cut through them let a lone bite into it .the sauce was curdled and the plate had broken chips out of it . I wouldn't recommend this place too noone the owner needs to sell as he has run the place into the ground

Ripples used to be the best F & C on the peninsula, but not anymore. I ordered 2 x crumbed fillets of Hoki & chips Sat night (25-3-23), and it was disgusting, got one fish that was obviously from a S/Market packet, tasted awful not fresh, and some pieces.. not a whole fillet, the chips were cold and soggy.. I threw most of it out.. never buy there again.

Ripples is a gem. The food is delicious, whether its takeaways or dining in for breakfast lunch dinner. Family run for 23 years, you will always feel at home here.
