   Not impressed, I ordered pork crispy noodle and spring rolls. Both tasteless. Pork noodles had few tiny shredded pork.

   Suitable for any size group, atmosphere and service was great too Flavour was a bit heavy but pairs well with rice~ Ordered 7-8 dishes plus rice with a group of 9 and paid under $25 per person Tasted so good that some people in our group ordered a few extra dishes to take home! Parking is definitely difficult in this area during peak hours...

   Long bao are nice, top of its type. Mushroom chicken are also good with mid spicy and strong flavour, Chickens are pre fried and crispy outside and soft inside. The duck and bamboo soup is filed with MSG, materials are not fresh at all. This is the deal breaker of all. Expensively not well cooked. Restaurant is small packed with tables. It’s not easy to move around comfortably. There are a lot good dishes at 50-60mark. From my experience those should be cooked by an experienced chef. Maybe I will come back next time if there is no other choice for dinning.

   Food:(4/5) It’s rare to find an authentic Shanghainese restaurant in Auckland, but this one truly delivers. The pan-fried buns were a standout: crispy on the bottom, juicy inside, and so good that my partner couldn’t get enough. Don’t miss the Yellow Croaker with fermented Cabbage Noodles, the fish was tender and packed with umami, though the broth could’ve been richer. The Pickled Mustard Greens with Pork Tripe Noodles were a knockout: tangy, savory, and deeply satisfying. Braised Beef Offal with Radish, an absolute winner! The beef tendon was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the broth was rich and aromatic. Service: (3.5/5) Friendly but slowed down during peak hours. A bit more attentiveness would’ve elevated the experience.

   Food is absolutely amazing and reasonably priced. Normally they bring all dishes out at once but Friday night too few staff. Dishes were brought in 20 minutes apart. Desert 1st???

   Really good Shanghai food. Favourite dishes are the sweet & sour pork on rice, gluttonous tofu and pork buns. Been here numerous times, always very fast service and food that is full of flavour with large portion sizes for the price.

   We had lunch here previously and the spring rolls are great. This time we had dins and it was average. The fried beans were the best part, flavorful and well cooked. The rest were a bit bland. The seafood pot is suppose to have calamari and prawns in it as per photo in menu but all we got was surimi, two prawns and fish bits. Convenient location, lots of seating but the chairs and tables are an awkward height for knees and legs

   01JAN2020: Ever popular, always full house in dinner time. Boss lady is very friendly and if you are not happy with the dish they will re cook for you to your liking. Not many restaurants will do that for customer. We are repeat customers because friendly services and yummy dishes. Check out the updated photos. June2019: Very busy, hussle and bussle place. Hard working crew. Authentic Shanghai food with good range to choose from, non spicy to extremely spicy. Suggest to visit early or later in each dining period(s) or you may have to wait outside. The kitchen and the whole place has a very very fast pace.. From time you sit down, order, eat and leave. So this also means if you are out for a romantic outing, this is not the place for you. Great tasty food, lamb beef fish, soupy, stir fry. Steam or fried dumplings, and xiao long Bau.. you name it and they have it on menu. The menu caters from 1 person to 15+ in a group. Parking is very limited in the complex. Certain dishes are very strong in flavours so some may find them salty. They do have lite and vegetarian dishes so you will not disappoint. Highly recommend for a visit. Credit card not accepted. Cash or Eftpos only.
