   The order was taken incorrectly, the coffee service was incredibly slow (2 hot chocolates with a 15-minute difference in service between the first and the second). The sandwich displayed on the counter was awful (Bacon Bun) it took about 20 minutes in the kitchen (supposedly just to heat it up), the bacon was overcooked and the fried mashed potatoes tasted stale!! The staff's good deed was to apologize and offer another sandwich in light of what happened, but we obviously didn't accept. In the 10 years I've been visiting this place, I've never had this kind of experience. I hope they take these comments to improve their service and learn from their mistakes. A Old Coffee Club customer....

   Came in for lunch. Ordered breakfast ban as it just required heating and a coffee. Ask to be toasted. Place wasnt busy (only 3 tables were taken). Took 15 minutes to get the coffee (coffee was decent) and took another 5 minutes for the ban to arrive. Came soggy (not toasted) and cold. Probably microwaved. Good cafeteria would offer water. I asked for one and was shown the direction to the tap. Staff is not interested in your experience.

   First time here today, have to say with the high quality of cafe's in west auckland and the $100 cost for lunch, I have definitely had better. My daughter had eggs bene and salmon, she enjoyed but no soft poached eggs, I had calamari dish, which calamari was rubbery, overcooked chips, Caesar salad looked budget spread out over a large plate. We both enjoyed our ice coffee and ice chocolate, Sad to say but I definitely won't be coming here again, unless major improvements to the food. Lovely lady who served us.

   REVIEW 2018 - Great experience. Staff are very friendly and attentive. With the compassion to enlist a Downs person shows you have patience. We will definitely come here again. Thank you so much for restoring faith in great food and great service. REVIEW 2022 Apr - Good Customer service, good atmosphere. We ordered 2x Eggs Bene, salmon and bacon. Both were tasting great. Just the fact that both our eggs were not runny kind of spoiled the whole dish. Our Hot Choc and mocha were great though. This would be an UPDATED RATING of 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️. Added new photos as well
