“A good sized liquor store, often with deals if you're open minded with what you want to drink. Friendly staff. Close to glenfield mall, macdonalds, burger fuel and other fast food if you're after food too. Be aware that the liquor laws mean alcohol shops can't sell after 9pm now.”

The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, generous portions, and full of authentic Mexican flavours. We tried the tacos, nachos, burrito, and sides — everything was tasty and beautifully presented. What I really loved was how kids-friendly the place is. The staff were welcoming and patient, and the relaxed atmosphere made it easy to enjoy our meal while the little ones felt comfortable. Highly recommend this spot for families or anyone craving good Mexican food in a cosy, welcoming setting!!”

“Hands down our favourite local takeaways. The quality of food is brilliant (burgers are my favourite) and the staff are lovely. They are really busy on Fridays at peak times (because it’s so good) but staff are always super friendly and helpful. We make sure to order around 5pm on a Friday for shorter wait times. We’d prefer to enjoy dinner from an owner-operator place like PL rather than a chain restaurant any day!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (If I could, I’d give 20 stars!) We came here for dinner and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The wine was excellent, but what really stood out was the incredible service. I wish I remembered the name of the gentleman who looked after us: he was outstanding. He explained the menu with such honesty, knowledge, and enthusiasm, and it was clear he had a deep understanding of both the dishes and the restaurant itself. We were unsure what to order because everything looked so good and we couldnt decide as we wanted to try everything. he guided us perfectly, giving thoughtful recommendations and going above and beyond to make sure we chose what suited us best. Even though the restaurant was full, he was attentive, quick, and genuinely warm smiling the whole time and clearly enjoying what he does. It’s rare to find service like that these days. The food was just as impressive. We had a meat dish (piatto con carne) that was one of the best mains I’ve ever had in Auckland, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The linguine pasta was also delicious. But the star for me was the olive ascolane: even better than the ones I’ve had in Italy. For dessert, the cannoli was outstanding, the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. Even when it came time to pay, the staff were friendly, accommodating, and made us feel welcome right up until the very end. We truly enjoyed every moment of our experience here and will definitely be back. Highly, highly recommended!”

“W organised our Wedding party private function at Rosanna's on the 24th of September and we had a blast. The space is great, with a nice leafy outdoor/indoor flow. The team was fantastic, lovely and very professional, and let us do pretty much anything we wanted in terms of layout, decoration and food. And the food was delicious. We really recommend this place for anyone looking to host an event, the location is central, easy to park around and excellent value for pricing. And the fact they are dog friendly is such a plus.
