“I went here for lunch yesterday not expecting anything too crazy good, but I was blown away!! The ramen I ordered was the yuzu miso ramen and I added kimchi. It was so delicious! The portion size was perfect and all the flavours melted together beautifully! The broth was really flavourful and the yuzu flavour got stronger towards the end. The kimchi was yummy and crunchy and slightly sweet. The pork slices were thick and charred and tender. The staff were very friendly and food came out relatively quickly. Definitely the best ramen I’ve had in Welly so far.”

“Pulled in here for a couple of drinks and a game of darts, what a fabulous place. We were on abit of a time limit but we really wanted to stay longer and get some food too, we really wanted to kick in for a long one. Had everything we wanted, bar stools and tables,, cosy lounging area with style, an outdoor area, a TAB, this place has alot to offer, lots of great food choices too, oh and a unique looking fire place to sit around on these cold days. The counter service at Mana store was average and could be improved. The store is no longer fully decorated inside and the walls look very bare. “Just had the best service (and yummy meal, as always). There was a small error in the kitchen with my GF pizza, and it had to be remade. They were so apologetic, and even gave me a free dessert! I was more than happy to wait, and didn't expect anything free, but was so touched by the offer and incredibly impressed by the service. We will definitely be back! I was also very impressed at how careful they were with cross contamination. Would recommend for anyone with allergies, particularly GF, they take them seriously!!”

The previous visit was not as good - not enough place settings, even after asking; we had water glasses but no water, until we asked for it; and we seemed to be a blind spot for the waiter. “Absolutely amazing! Emailed a couple of questions before coming and the replies were very quick and helpful. Service was amazing. The food, MY GOD THE FOOD, by far the best lamb dish I've had in wellington. Comes with these onions in a sauce that is just devine. 10/10 will be back again.
