Delicious and fresh. Best salmon sushi I've ever had. Specially made fresh avocado sushi for the kids.
There was a fly in the sushi. After eating it, I had a stomachache for a long time.
The food was genuinely disgusting, the sushi was nearly impossible to bite because the chicken was such poor quality it was riddled with gristle or something. The street noises were very loud and disorienting. I felt very rushed away by the less than caring staff, when I asked what was in the sauce to make sure I wasn't allergic she either ignored or didn't hear me the first time and the second time she said "its katsu sauce." Which gives me no information, and then when I asked a third time she said "You know sesame..." and then mumbled and trailed off. Took bites of everything I got and threw it away in the trash after spitting it out. Horrible experience.
Really friendly and helpful staff and the food was delicious. Love that you can choose your individual sushi. I got a really good teriyaki chicken and noodle dish. Would 100% go again.
First time here. Very convenient location for a quick bite. Love the cartoons on the wall. Busy place. We had teriyaki chicken bento (a fairly big portion), sushi and something on rice. Unfortunately the food were just average. Like I said, it is ok for a quick bite. Service is fast.
Authentic Japanese cuisine made by experts. Spicy Chicken don is recommended! Spicy! Hot! Tasty! Love it very much. Every single dish is served with miso tofu soup. Sushi is self-serve. Price starts from 2 nzd. You can choose your drink from the fridge. The cashier is charming - smile all the time - made this restaurant enchanted.
Freshest and best sushi I have ever ate. Staff are constantly bringing out new and fresh sushi. As TJ Katsu are so popular, the sushi doesn't just sit there all day so the avocado doesn't taste odd and the vegetables don't wilt. Lovely staff, premises and great loyalty stamp card system. Also a fantastic place to sit down and enjoy your meal
