Airport food is usually more miss than hit! But for a change this place is the latter. Had spicy chicken with a salad, and it was delicious. If you’re in Wellington airport and you need something yummy + a good portion size, this is your place! 5 stars!

Wow β€” what a pleasant surprise at Wellington Airport! TJ Katsu truly exceeded expectations. The food was fresh, flavourful, and perfectly cooked β€” crispy katsu with tender meat inside, and that signature sauce was spot on! The portions were generous, the presentation was clean, and everything tasted like it was made with care β€” not your usual airport food at all. The staff were friendly and efficient, even during the busy rush, and the service was quick without feeling rushed. Highly recommend grabbing a bite here before your flight β€” delicious, satisfying, and great value for money. TJ Katsu is definitely a gem at Wellington Airport!

I ordered prawn dumplings and had to get the waitress over to find the prawns.. look like they had mince up something horrible and added pink food colouring…I mean, I’m pretty bad at cooking but pretty sure Ive done a better job then this

One of the best sushi spots at the airport, fresh, tasty, and plenty of variety. Wellington Airport has such a great vibe and is the perfect place for people-watching!

There were 2 counters at the airport: one offering snacks and the other serving more substantial meals. I tried some sushi and a few deep-fried items from the snack counter. The sushi pieces were small and a bit pricey, but they were surprisingly pretty decent. Loved the self-serve model - it made things so convenient. Unfortunately, they didn’t offer coffee, which was a bit of a letdown.

This ramen doesn't look quite as appealing as some of the other restaurants in wellington but I tell you, if you are stopping through wellington Airport it's tasty af. Only downside would be that very shallow wooden spoons only are available. The noodles were perfectly cooked and better than 2 minute noodle packets. Price on the high side but contains a number of fresh high quality ingredients so i feel is justified.

Not bad, but not great either. $21.50 seemed a bit steep for a small snack. Chicken Kebab was cold (perhaps was supposed to be?). A shame as I was hoping for great things.

Had pork ramen for lunch before departure. The soup was, temperature-wise, a bit too hot but the taste met expectation. Good customer service.

We stopped by here for a bite to eat before our flight. We had the dumplings and they were really tasty, but they had chilli oil and chilli flakes covering them even though it didn't say anything on the menu about them being spicy. I'm not someone who likes spicy foods so I was a little disappointed that there was chilli on there. That being said, the dumplings were very nice and although there weren't many, they were pretty filling. TJ Katsu didn't really look open when we went there and it seemed like there were only two people there which was a bit strange, although it was the evening and not many places were open. Basically, if you want nice tasting food that is spicy and you don't mind waiting a bit then this place might be worth checking out.
