“Perfection! Incredibly fresh ingredients executed to a high standard. We had the Bruschetta, Rucola salad, meatballs, arancini, calamari, pepperoni pizza, garlic bread. Highlights: Light, high quality pizza dough Fresh, fresh ingredients, high quality pepperoni and squid Best Arancini we have had, love the little chilli kick. “I went here for lunch yesterday not expecting anything too crazy good, but I was blown away!! The ramen I ordered was the yuzu miso ramen and I added kimchi. It was so delicious! The portion size was perfect and all the flavours melted together beautifully! The broth was really flavourful and the yuzu flavour got stronger towards the end. The kimchi was yummy and crunchy and slightly sweet. The pork slices were thick and charred and tender. The staff were very friendly and food came out relatively quickly. Definitely the best ramen I’ve had in Welly so far.”

“Absolutely amazing! Emailed a couple of questions before coming and the replies were very quick and helpful. Service was amazing. The food, MY GOD THE FOOD, by far the best lamb dish I've had in wellington. Comes with these onions in a sauce that is just devine. 10/10 will be back again. An amazing experience especially for groups. Also as a note the salad at the start, idk what dressing is on it. But it's amazing !!!!”

“We opted for a range of share plates in lieu of mains - the pull-apart garlic loaf, pork belly bites, bacon wrapped scallops and calamari. Four plates was enough to fill two of us up, and the food was AMAZING - just good food well prepared and executed. I stepped out to take a phone call and by the time I came back, our food had arrived. The staff were awesome - personable, attentive, authentic and helpful. Kate in particular put us right at ease and was the consummate host. A nice, quiet table, great music not too loud to preclude conversation, and staff that seem like they actually want to be here dealing with you... that was the point of difference! Highly recommended.”

“Highly recommend. I absolutely loved my breakfast. The omelette was delicious and the butter was served at room temperature so it actually spread on my toast. The service was fast but you weren't rushed. Great chilling music played in the back ground.”

“The food is very flavoursome, healthy and varied. The service is usually good and was this last time (not very busy). The previous visit was not as good - not enough place settings, even after asking; we had water glasses but no water, until we asked for it; and we seemed to be a blind spot for the waiter. So either that waiter improved or it depends on how busy it is.”

I’m happy to concede that my time spent at Miramar Subway was one of the best I’ve ever had the god given pleasure of experiencing. George and Chanel (Chanelle? Shanelle? Please excuse me if my spelling is wrong) treated me to the finest 12 inches I’ve ever consumed. The sandwich itself was close to perfection, but the service is what really topped it off. Warm smiles were shown, a few jokes were cracked, and I left feeling like I’d made two new friends. I’m sure the two will go on to have prosperous Subway careers”

Great value for money using First Table - makes eating out affordable, especially when you have a giant teenage boy to fill up! “The best place for big group dinners. Went on a Saturday night and the place was packed-had a great energy. The staff are very professional. They write down you name & order to ensure everyone gets the right thing. Food was alright- felt like the miso soup and the sauce on the grilled fish was overly sweet. But liked the crunchy prawn dumplings. Will definitely be back for future group celebrations”
