Food was okay. We ordered some Ramen, Katsudon, Katsu curry and Tempura sets, and some skewers. The curry sauce to the katsu curry was way too little, after taking the top few pieces of the meats, leaving almost none curry sauce for the rest of the meal…, I haven’t even started eating the rice. After asking the waitress if I could have more curry sauce, she brought me a small bowl of it. (After asking for more curry sauce, our girl realized there actually is one item for extra curry sauce for $3.50.). Strongly suggested the restaurant to give more curry sauce to the set meal as it is the soul of the meal. If not for the curry, why not ordering a katsudon instead.

Such a cute wee Japanese restaurant with extra friendly and extremely polite Japanese staff serving you. Food so delicious. Great value for money using First Table - makes eating out affordable, especially when you have a giant teenage boy to fill up! This is my second time visiting Arashi in two weeks becuase I loved it so much the first time.

Delicious! Had the crab fried rice omelette. Wasn’t too crowded around 7:45. Good service. Now I’m addicted to these omelets

Amazing BYO venue. Liked how the tables were quite spaced out so things didn’t get too loud. Highly recommend the 10 piece sushi combo- a good way to try a bit of all the flavours. Lots of vegetarian & gluten free options too.

We had to wait a long time for someone to serve us, because the restaurant is large but there are only 2 employees, 1 waiter and 1 person at the counter. It is a Japanese restaurant but bought and operated by Chinese people. I took the Menu myself, many tables had to leave because of the long wait. The food is a bit small, had to eat 2 large portions to be full. I ordered a bottle of wine and was served the wrong one but I did not change it because they were too busy. The meat is grilled at the bar so it will smell. My friend also had a bad experience here. I do not want to give a low rating because they are new and still have a lot of confusion, but if I do not give feedback, it will be difficult for them to realize their mistake! The advertised dish on FirstTable is Set A & set B (50% off) but when I ordered, I did not get the discount!

Okay, Arashi Kushiyaki is honestly one of the best resurants I have been to ever. Great food, lovely people and did I mention great food? Very reasonable prices and a great menu with lots of options for adults and kids. Will visit again in the near future.

My favourite restaurant by far! I come here often. The food is so good and well worth the price. Best teriyaki chicken I have ever had. The staff are so friendly and always ensure the customers are happy! Highly recommend.

Got a set where the miso (nothing but seaweed and a speck of tofu) and rice were luke warm and the salads were pretty much identical with a difference sauce. I’d get more value (and more salmon) getting two sets of skewers than the set with rice + salmon + fillers. Not the quality I’d expect from an authentic Japanese restaurant. Staff are fast but a little disorganised/rushed. Having booked weeks in advance, we didn’t expect to get a two hour limit and get told to move to another table 40 mins in.

We came here while visiting for WOAP and I was very excited to try the crayfish ramen. Unfortunately it was super busy so the staff weren't very attentive and I'm told by a friend "the food wasn't up to it's usual high standard". The crayfish ramen was a bit of a letdown too but would be keen to go back when they're not as busy to give it another go.

This restaurant isn't fantastic, but I keep.coming back and have been doing so for nearly 10 years. Why? The food isn't anything special. At best, it's at the good end of average. The restaurant itself is often very noisy (especially if there are groups - it's popular with groups because they allow BYO), and the staff are busy. On the other hand, service is quick, and the prices are very reasonable. I think that's why I keep coming back. This place is reliable - not great food, but ok, inexpensive and fast.
