Each window had its own set of problems and Colin was able to return them all to easy operability with the installation of new sash cords, additional weights to re-calibrate them following some re-glazing, and some brush-seal to deal to the rattling. Colin provided a highly professional service with excellent workmanship and great communication - and, all at reasonable cost. I highly recommend Colin to anyone who loves the old double-hung sash windows and wants theirs to be treated kindly. I am hoping to engage Colin’s services again in the new year for repairs to another troublesome window or two.”

“If u need a mechanic Island bay motors are AWESOME. I drove to a lunch meeting on Friday in Mirimar from Island Bay. On the way back heard funny sound when braking. Drove by the garage 1:45pm had a chat, they had a quick look and confirmed brakes were stuffed. They had a cancellation and offered to fit me in. So I left the car with them. They rung shortly after to confirm disc brakes rusted out both sides and pads worn out and told me the repair cost. They got new ones couriered from petone immediately. All fixed and paid for at 5:15pm....3.5 hrs after I first had a chat!! Crazy good service. Lovely people as well.”
