I took my car in for W.O.F, The receptionist thought I was my older sister and fixed my loose lightbulb and foggy light without asking me. I took a male with me to sort it out. The receptionist was in the wrong showed unprofessional behavior but still let us of for the small work they done on my car I was grateful until yesterday 19.11.25 My sister (one of her clients) rang me and said the receptionist was gossiping about My family and I. If the male I took in was trespassed she shouldve told us that day it happened instead of making up drama to get the talk rolling a month later.totally unprofessional and wont be going there again.
I’ve been to Waiwhetu Auto Services many times and have always been happy with their service. This morning, I went in with my daughter to get my car checked because of a weird sound I heard yesterday, and I completely forgot to book ahead. They were really busy (as expected), but when I mentioned I was nervous about driving the car back, they kindly offered to take it for a quick drive and check it out. Surprisingly, the sound had disappeared, but they still took the time to make sure everything was fine. I’m so grateful for their flexibility and willingness to help, even without an appointment. (Though I definitely recommend booking ahead before you go!) I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt I had to this time. Highly recommend this place!
These guys do our wofs & service our vehicles and always do a great job. The recepction & service is always top notch. Also everyone does all their work at a good price.
I had to get my WOF done in a few days and I asked them to help me. I added an extra request to check the steering pump for a strange humm. Taking the courtesy car I headed home. Next day they sent me a message that my car is ready for pickup. No more humm, WOF done, reasonable price, in no time. I am happy to know them, all onest working people. Thank you.

I have been using the auto shop now for a few years, and the guys know their stuff . They are the only shop I now use for all our cars for everything from a WOF ( including motorcycles ) to a simple safety check .All the staff are super friendly and helpful also . I highly recommend that if you're looking for a mechanic who's trustworthy go check them out
