Complete scam, got the car seen for a WOF quoted $1400 worth of repairs. Took it to VTNZ for a second opinion the only thing they found was a minor issue with widow washer fluid. If i could give half a star i would. DO NOT GO TO HERE.
Danny and the team are genuinely the most amazing mechanics ever! They’re incredibly transparent, honest, and always take the time to explain what’s going on, which can be hard to find in a mechanic these days. I always feel confident that my car is in good hands and that I’m being treated fairly. I genuinely cannot recommend these guys more, they’re the best in the business!
All I can say is the world needs more people like Danny and Richie in it!!! These guys are our hero’s. We broke down on the side of SH1 just before the ferry terminal. Unfortunately missing our sailing but Miramar Auto Centre came to the rescue. It was the only place we could find that was open as it was a Saturday morning and we hoped to get the car back up and running again to make it to the afternoon ferry. I called Danny who was working alone and he said he was very busy but would try his absolute best to get it sorted for us. We managed to get the AA to tow the vehicle to the workshop. Danny had called in Richie for some extra help and they had us back up and running by mid day. We honestly can’t thank you both enough. The Wellington community is so lucky to have such top quality mechanics, who are prepared to go above and beyond for their customers. He even took the time to video what he had done to explain everything to us. I would without a doubt recommend them to everyone I know. In my experience they are the best mechanics I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Thanks again Danny & Richie!!! You guys are legends!!!
Dani and the team go above and beyond, they provide excellent service and top notch expertise. Been there for a few different jobs now and they have really made the extra effort to ensure things get sorted. Highly recommend.
Danny was amazing! When we were driving down to the South Island last year, we had a problem with the car, which had to be fixed before we got on the ferry later that afternoon. Miramar Auto Centre was the only place still open, as it was the Saturday afternoon before Christmas, and it was only Danny working. Even though he was incredibly busy, he squeezed us in and provided us with a solution that meant we could finish our drive down. We are so thankful that Danny helped us out and was so friendly and pleasant to deal with.

The best mechanic in Wellington! I have been taking my cars to Danny for years now, and wouldn't take them anywhere else. Danny keeps us updated every step of the way when working on our cars. He even showed me pictures and videos of the progress of the car. He is the nicest guy and he and his team treat your car like it is their own. Super professional and tidy. Highly recommended! I had my starter motor fail - I'm self employed and needed the car and Danny and his team were able to locate a part and get me running within a couple of days - I was impressed by the amazing communication and service - 5 stars!
We didn’t have an appointment but the mechanic looked at our car anyway as we were losing traction (safety issue). He did a wheel alignment test, discovered it was way out, and didn’t charge us. Absolutely lovely guy and amazing service. If we lived in Wellington we’d definitely use this mechanic!
