“I came here for a problem with my van, the staff was very welcoming, smiling, attentive to requests. Very appreciable. For the work done, nothing to complain about. Fast, efficient. When the vehicle was handed over, I had all the necessary explanations and all that in very simple terms! I totally recommend this garage!”

“Always surprisingly fast delivery! Next day delivery to the South Island! Wow! Great products and they always sneak in a goodie or two. They always provide a hand written “thank you” which is a nice touch. I highly recommend giving them a shot. They’ve got a great range of products and competitive prices. Thanks.”

“The best cakes in town. I went in to try a sample of cake just because I was hungry. Next thing I know I am married now with a small human and a quadruped that makes noises at the neighbor's smaller quadruped.”

“Gaye was most helpful when deciding upon our wedding cake. She provided excellent insight and help. Gaye and her team then went onto to produce exactly as she had described - we were just blown away by the detail of the cake. The flowers used fitted in perfectly to the theme of the wedding. The cake tasted delicious and left our guests wanting more. Thanks Gaye, you were super! 5 out of 5!”
“One of the best fish n chip shops in town. I have been going here since I was a kid and love everything I have tried of their menu.”
“Nice coffee and the best location downtown. I enjoyed sitting in the provided bean bags while overlooking the water.”
“To be honest I wasn't expecting much from our stay, expected just a simple night stop with no frills. Rooms and bathrooms were surprisingly kept at a good standard, clean and well maintained. The term "don't judge a book from its cover" very well applies here. Much to add the the hotel is a pet project of the owner to as his goal is to develop an aging hotel and turn it into a must stop motel, so note on further improvements in the upcoming months. To share a funny experience we had our carkeys accidently locked in while unpacking, but the owner/manager Ken went over mountains to help us by calling for help and making sure our stay was fun and pleasant. And to even invite us to Karaoke night at the bar downstairs with the locals which we had a blast with. Final thoughts - I would definitely make sure to make this part of my road trip route the next time I visit NZ. The locals, hotel, and owner all of them made our stop unexpectedly fun and vibrant.”
“Such a cool little mobile café. Blown away by the coffee, the classic ham and cheese toastie was absolutely fantastic.”
“Cafe Anatolia is part of popular chain, but new to Tauranga. Its interior is spacious, airy and attractive, although I imagine they will have to put more tables in as more people start coming here. We had both the chicken and the lamb kebabs with 3 sauces (garlic yogurt, hummus and hot chili make an awfully good combination). The first thing we noticed is that the wrap was more of a tortilla than a flat bread, making me want to call it a Turkish "burrito." The second thing we noticed is that they were fabulous. In fact they're rather addicting--we came back again for lunch two days later. Note: if you like desserts they have an impressive selection of bakery goods in their display case, not Turkish but they looked yummy.”
“Quick trip, in and out. Found what I needed easily - a new bedside lamp. No hassles waiting at the checkout. Polite and friendly service. Super happy with my lamp, and the price. Love it! ❤️”
“Awesome cafe! The girls are all super lovely and seriously make the best coffee ever. Tried a slice and my mother in law had a scone and we were both equally impressed. Highly recommend stopping in”
