The Sushi Shop at Bayfair offers a wide cabinet of sushi with madeβtoβorder rolls. Customers mix and match pieces or choose readyβmade packs for a quick bite.
Avoid at all costs. Days old chicken, hard disgusting rice. Old salmon. Cold dry putrid food. I paid for food that was inedible. I told the owner and he said the food was fresh. It was not. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AVOID AVOID AVOID
Unfortunately, the worst sushi Iβve ever come across. Hubby bought a couple of trays at 3.30pm and it smelled off from the moment I opened the tray. A couple of mouthfuls confirmed that it wasnβt right. The chicken tasted sour and the sushi rice was too mushy. Itβs one of the only occasions in my life where my gut was screaming βdo not consume; not safeβ.
Went to the sushi shop in bayfair and bought an 8 piece teriyaki chicken with avocado. A good portion size but took some time to be served. The sushi was tasty but I found a piece of burnt hard piece of plastic in one of them. I took it back to the staff and they looked at me and said βokayβ βwhat do you want us to do about it? A free piece or throw it in the binβ not even an apology when I wanted to let them know that it was health and safety issue.
I am always having a good lunch time with the sushi here. They are delicious i love them. My favorite Sushi is Donburi and Seafood Sushi. Can't wait to get the 'end of the day' sushi pack everyday!
I eat here often, sushi + neighbouring tank is a great meal. However, my last visit for a late lunch yesterday I paid a $50 for an 8 pack and only got 26.40 change. Had walked off by the time I realised. Pretty disappointed.
They have the best crumbed fried sushi! With loads of yummy sauce. First time Iv tried it like this. Super yummy! Not the healthiest but sometimes a little treat doesnt hurt.
By far the best Sushi in Tauranga. Been coming here almost every week for over 6 months now and it's always fresh and tasty. Staff are very friendly and service is quick. 10/10
