From the start Kylie was helpful and made life easier for us to plan the holiday of a lifetime. Its the little stuff (that can turn big) that you dont know, that Helloworld Travel knows, that makes the difference. eg Hotels in the right place, that are good and clean and friendly. Flights that are timed to make the most of your days and cheaper than we can find online, & Tour Companys that are reliable and excellent. We are grateful to Kylie for her help in making out trip so amazing wiith her tips and tricks. We would use Helloworld The Lakes again.
We haven’t used a travel agent in years, but decided to take the stress out of organising our Aussie holiday, and we’re so glad we did! Steve and Kylie at Helloworld were absolutely amazing. My partner and I initially booked our 6 week vacation with another company, but after many months of delays and frustrating back and fourths, we decided to try someone else. We found this branch of Helloworld completely by chance and decided to go in and just talk to someone and see what we could get done. The amount of passion and care put into finding us the best options was nothing short of amazing. Especially with only one month left to get everything sorted. We had an amazing Trip. If I could give 6 stars I would! Hands down the best Travel Agency, I highly recommend Steve and the team at The Lakes! We weren't sure where we wanted to travel, but knew we wanted to take the kids on a big "experience" holiday. Steve was very knowledgeable and patient in guiding us on various options that were suitable for all our ages (3-65). In the end we settled on Japan! Steve pulled together some great flights and exceptional accommodation for us. I will be forever grateful, we had the trip of a lifetime. Thanks Steve! We'll definitely be return customers for our next adventure!
Kylie and Steve are great, have organised several items of travel recently and nothing is a problem, smooth organisation when you are planning your travel. I did run into some pretty significant problems due to the recent cyclone, was due to fly out Auckland on a long haul flight, unfortunately hit lots of flight cancellations at the same time as thousands of other travellers in Auckland because of the bad weather. A phone call to Kylie and we were quickly organised onto a new flight. So we are able to head off for some dinner as hundreds of other people at the airport tried to change flights at the airline counters, so I definitely recommend the team at Hello World The Lakes, they have your back if you need them. Added bonus if you have some American Express points you can redeem them here too! A very happy customer here.
I literally couldn't recommend Helloworld travel enough, what a super company. Kylie was AMAZING! Nothing seemed to phase her and she went above and beyond. She kept in regular communication with us, with updates and simply just to check that everything was going ok. After booking our flights she provided additional information and links to 'travelling with an infant' for our respective airlines, American ESTA applications, and helped us book airport day hotels where appropriate. Steve you are a gem! A huge thank you for assisting us with our booking, you are fabulous! Awesome communication and advice. We had the best holiday and the kids did so well, really proud of them and it will only get easier as they get a bit older. I really enjoyed flying with Singapore, thank you for choosing this airline and I'd honestly choose them again. I highly recommend Shangri-La Sentosa, it was fantastic for the kids! Alright, so now to plan the next adventure!! And no doubt you will be the man we call!
We finally made it to Rarotonga 2and a half years after our original booking.Hello world has been fantastic in getting refunds from our original booking and then finding the best suitable accommodation for our extended family of 14 a special thanks to Katie ,nothing was too much trouble too her.
