“We took our 18-month-old twins and they absolutely loved it. The interaction with the animals was fantastic, especially being able to feed them. It was a lovely walk around the park and very stroller-friendly, which made the visit easy and enjoyable. A great day out for families with young children — we’ll definitely be back.”
“We had the most amazing experience on this seafari, apparently we got super lucky because we ended up spitting 4 different dolphin pods. Didn’t get to swim with the dolphins since all the pods had juveniles, but still it was amazing to just enjoy them from the boat and learn all about them from the crew.”
“The new park (post cyclone Gabrielle) opens April 6th 2024 and is accessed via Waipunga road, off SH5 Esk Valley. Turn into Waipunga road, cross the bridge then turn right into the first forestry road, and follow this to the carpark. No tracks remain in the Mill Block off SH2.”
“We did the guided walking tour around Napier’s art deco buildings run by a volunteer from the Art Deco Trust. You need to pre book your places on the tour. It was easy walking, went for about an hour and a half, they provide you with a head set so you can listen to your guide. Great stories, wonderful insights about the city, especially the earthquake history. I’d highly recommend the tour.”
“Had a great time there. We would like to give a big shout out to Marie who was fantastic. Very knowledgeable. A great asset to your company. Would throughly recommend to anyone! A+++”
“I treated myself to a trip on The Stargazer from Dunedin to Hindon and back. The trip didn't disappoint, from arrival where staff from Tuhura Museum helped everyone get their stargazing apps up and running to getting off at the end. Precinct at the Tuhura Museum provided us with a great tasty 3 course meal. It was much appreciated by everyone from the comments I could hear from the seats around me. The lamb was magnificent and went well with my glass of wine. Once we arrived at Hindon, they divided us into 3 groups, and we attended the different workshops on offer. My favorite was looking through the telescopes provided by The Beverly Begg Observatory. It was pretty special getting a close-up look at our celestial neighbors. Much kudos to them as they had been waiting up there in the cold for us all to arrive in our warm and comfortable train. I keep thinking about the beautiful Jewellry Box constellation with all the different colours. I'm now looking at the night sky differently. Thank you to all who took part in teaching us about our skies. Finally, sated and tired, we hopped back on our warm train to travel home. But they weren't finished with us yet. On the way home,we got to listen to astrophysicist Michelle Thaller answer questions that we had put to her earlier. She covered everything from going to Mars, Aurora, and pineapple on pizza. She has a great way of putting information that sticks with you and is fun. It was a fantastic night, and if you have the opportunity to go on this trip, I couldn't recommend it to you highly enough. Just go and enjoy a great evening adventure.”
“Absolutely the best tour! Our guide stopped for special shots with nature and wildlife that his keen eye saw, but we did not. Comfortable ride. Great commentary with lots of relevant history and info. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”
“Incredible work by the OPERA! During our tour they explained us how they started it and they work towards the conservation of penguins and andemic wildlife in general. It goes from replanting trees to having a rehabilitation center for yellow eyed penguins. It is a great location if you want to spot little blue penguins, fur seals and sea lions without bothering them. And because of the rehabilitation center you have the chance to be close to yellow eyed penguins as well.”
“The place is located within the heart of the city and close to the shops and cafes at St. Claire. The staffs were superb in caring and attending the residents of the care center.”
“It's such a beautiful place for the kids and their parents as well to hanging out ❤ , Good point to do the BBQ as well.”
“This place is great, a nice cheap way to entertain the kids for a while and leave them with something to talk about”
“Really nice staff! Got a lot of useful information. Thank you!”
“Beautiful setting and environment. Children play ground as well as walking tracks, one of which leads down to water front. Grounds gets very soggy on wet winters, this is so to the basketball court, paly ground, refer photos. Good summer picnic spot, quite and a hidden gem.”
“Awesome experience with an amazing skipper Connor who made a difference. Thoroughly loved the short time spent together as we reached our quota in 45 minutes to catching 56 beautifully coloured snappers. Now, thats got to be something to be proud of. Brilliant skipper indeed and would love to have him on our next excursion in the near future. Much appreciation until next time.”
“We booked the community room for our Xmas function. It was a bit warm without any air conditioner but apart from that it was a great location and will definitely go there again. Next time we will bring fans.”
“Great location and very well maintained. Big park and they need to consider adding some activities for kids.”
“Auckland Zoo is an easy standout. The staff and volunteers are genuinely friendly and make the whole place feel welcoming. The animals look well cared for and the habitats are clean and well maintained. Plenty to keep the kids entertained with lots of space to explore and learn. Also, the coffee at the front cafe is surprisingly good which is always a win. A smooth, enjoyable visit from start to finish. Great place for families. Parking was closed due to renovations, so we had to park near MOTAT. Nice walk through the park though.”
“Speedy lane self service but price is good sometimes lots of cars.”
“Great fields and facilities. Only know it through my daughter's early morning football practice but everything seems top notch.”
“Good club with good heritage well maintained and have really good players”
“We visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon and the vibe was great. A live band was playing good tunes, not so loud that you couldn't enjoy a good yarn with your mates, and the staff were courteous and friendly. We arrived when it was very busy so the wait time for a cooked meal from the menu was an hour so keep that in mind if visiting when busy. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and look forward to stopping in again over summer.”
“Very good and very friendly - took us and our bicycles no problem.”
“Highly recommended... You hardly come across any travel agents who apart from making your travel arrangements, really do care... these are the guys to get in touch with to provide you travel solutions with excellent service. Thanks heaps for your service and assistance”
“Great way to spend time with the kiddo. Aviation museum was a feast for eyes and other exhibits in Bldg 5 and 6 were very educational and fun. Highly recommended!”

“Absolutely lovely to wander around. Calming and natural. Also great to see locals making use of the facilities. The monarch butterflies and caterpillars were a treat to see!”
“Very friendly staffs. We are enjoying this shop where we live close by. They got veriety products and theme items for our cat.”
“This is my first time choosing a group tour and I have to say I am so so so glad I went with Kiwi Experience. I did the Chilled Kiwi and it was brilliant from start to finish. A very special mention to our tour guide Ricky, for making the trip legendary and run so smoothly. I would recommend their small group tours to everyone coming to New Zealand.”
“SheepWorld in Warkworth is a charming and educational experience for all ages. The staff are friendly, the demonstrations are fun and informative, and the animals are well cared for. It’s a great place to learn about New Zealand’s farming heritage while enjoying a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!”
“Exceptional Service. Very Helpful Staffs. Value for money. Definitely Recommend!!!”
