“The first thing I want to say is how lucky I was to make the right decision. My son is three years old, and before that I visited a lot of places and did a lot of research. I knew a little bit about the environment before I came here and courses are great. I didn't expect too much for the teachers to be so friendly and responsible. For me, the feelings and experiences of children are more important than anything else. Because my son has not attended any day care before, his native language is not English, and his grandmother often takes care of him went back home for a period of time, which makes me worried about whether he will adapt to the new environment. All teachers, the front desk staff and the centre manager all understood my concerns and cooperated with each other to help my son to adapt faster and better. After two weeks transiting,my son is happy to stay and not crying after we drop him off. I am really grateful to the teachers there and this is the most responsible place I have encountered. They will understand the parents' thoughts and concerns, and work together, everything is for the sake of the child. Hope my son will have a wonderful journey in kakapo creek.”

“What an absolutely beautiful place. Julie and John are those rare wonderful hosts who go over and beyond to make their guests stay special and memorable. I loved their energy, enthusiasm and the zest with which they run this delightful place of theirs. This was indeed one of those trips which will be amongst my favourites for not only the biking trail we managed to complete but also our stay at this amazing place. The food was divine and something we looked forward to. Most importantly, Julie and John took our dietary requirements into consideration and treated us to some amazing gourmet food at the end of each day. “My wife and I came to Napier for a ‘Wine holiday’ to visit the vineyards in the local area. We chose 415 because of its high reviews on google and trip advisor… It was awesome, the rooms have been beautifully renovated and very warm when it was only 1 degree outside. The location was great, close to restaurants and easy to find on the main beach road. Our hosts Tom & Esther were great company helping us find the vineyards we wanted to visit and guide us away from some we didn’t know were closed. Cooked a great breakfast too!”

“This was an excellent weekend tour from Saturday morning (10am) until Sunday (5.30pm). The gardens and homes were all interesting and the home hosts were very welcoming. The driver was excellent, and we enjoyed the travel views on the way. Our travel broker Karen had the itinerary well organized with an excellent historian on board. We both thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.”

“Our family has taken adventure trips for the last 10 years and this trip to New Zealand was the most awesome trip our family has ever taken. This was the unanimous opinion of all 7 adult members of our family. Our 2yo granddaughter was also on the trip and Dee took care of any special arrangements for her. She even bought a hiking backpack for her parents to carry her in and now Dee and Steve have that one as something they can make available to others. NZ was amazing and Dee was equally amazing. She took care of all the details, both before and during the trip. We had numerous zoom meetings prior to traveling and Dee took the time to answer all of my questions and research any new ideas that surfaced. Once in New Zealand Dee kept in good touch with us. If an activity was going to be impacted by bad weather, she was on it immediately. She called us even before we had thought about what we should do differently. Whenever there was an option for an upgrade or a welcome gift, Dee made sure it happened. I will 100% use Luxury Adventures as our travel planners. I guess it's pretty obvious that I can't say enough positive things about Dee and the trip she planned. So much so that if you wanted to ask me any other questions I'm fine with Dee connecting us. NEW ZEALAND IS AMAZING!! Will definitely go back for an extended period when I retire.”

“We had an amazing trip planned out from NZ Awaits. We visited the North Island and were able to visit a variety of different areas. We kept Debbie’s notes with us the whole time, and always felt safe going from place to place. The accommodations chosen were all beautiful and very comfortable. I just told her the types of activities and places we’d like to visit and she whipped up an itinerary with everything we wanted to do! A mix of sight seeing, boat and river fishing, Maori village tour, hiking, geyser seeing, Hobbiton, wine tasting, etc, all with beautiful views! Will definitely travel with NZ Awaits again when we come back to visit the South Island. I wish I could use her in every country!”

“I went to South Africa for 4 weeks in 2015 with IWH to the South Africa Dream Horse Adventure Project. I have travelled to over 40 countries since then, but it is still my favourite place I have ever visited. I had always dreamed of going to Africa, and to ride horses on safari, but I had no idea how to make that happen. When I found IWH online, it was literally like my dream came true. Vicki and Shelby made everything so easy. They were always so available and helpful. The fact that they were both massive horse lovers, who had visited the project was such an added bonus, because they could answer all my (many) questions and share their experiences. And they seemed so genuinely excited for me. This was my first ever solo trip overseas, but I felt so safe and well looked after every step of the way. From the team that met us at the airport, to the orientation, and the family that ran the project, everyone was so lovely and helpful. The project far exceeded my expectations, I can’t even describe what an amazing experience it was.
