“A very small little model railroad tucked up in the hills. Nice for Kids to see how steam engines work, even if they are 1/100 scale. Amazingly a one horsepower steam engine can pull a bunch of carriages with some very large people of size on them.”

It was never touristy, it was always elegant and relaxing. When it came to planning our honeymoon, my husband and I didn’t have time to research every city, its history, and unique offerings. But Franck did! Looking back, we never felt like we missed out on anything. Franck is a rare gem with impeccable taste. We cannot wait to work with him again.”

“Shout out to our planetarium guide at the 8:30 show last night (Wednesday Dec 3). Greeted us when we arrived. Shared his genuine enthusiasm for the stars and the mission of Space Place. The exhibits space is small/medium, but the quality was quite high and captures the teenagers with us (no small feat!) with the right level of engagement and knowledge share. You can easily spend a couple hours with the planetarium show. I live in Los Angeles and while Griffith Observatory is quite famous, the exhibit quality for kids, teens and adults is superior if you take the time to read the material and enjoy the video/interactive set ups.”

“A superb park, well laid out with great planning. The planting attracts birds of all types including the rowdy Tui. Great water features. Plenty of spacious parking and electric car charging posts. Toilets suffer from vandals but usable”

“We have visited Truby Park in 2020, it was a wonderful experience. Loved the history, nature , fresh air. Beautiful flowers, good place to have a walk and chat and enjoy nature and history. This is also a good place for a picnic. Kids can play and have fun. Parking was easy to find.”

“We took our two mokopuna to Adrenaline Forest today. The eldest has been a couple of times and was confident after his briefing to get started. The younger was less so but certainly gave it his best. They both succeeded and had a great time. My thanks to the staff who supported my mokos in particular but were attentive to all. Clear safety instructions showing exactly how to use the equipment; and just the right encouragement when one of my boys got stuck. A reminder of the basics and gentle but firm guidance from the ground. All the reassurance that was needed and our moko carried on again. “Had the most amazing once in a lifetime experience on this safari. We were booked on a weekend cruise but due to weather it was cancelled but it was super easy to rebook onto another day which went ahead and it was AMAZING!!! We were extremely lucky that day to see hundreds of dolphins in a feeding frenzy where many whales came to feed ( we saw about 10/11 whales that day!) they did say this wasn’t what they see all the time and we were very fortunate. The staff were just as excited as us and they were excellent along with the informative commentary, would 1000% go again and recommend to everyone as they also do it for conservation! This will be a trip I’ll never forget!”

“Just did the 24 day kea tour with Leon and I can positively say it has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I've done several bucket list activities such as Bungie jumping and skydiving to a Heli hike and the tongariro alpine crossing. Our tour guide Leon very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and was just fantastic all around. For the price of the tour, no other tour company I've seen comes anywhere near what Stray offered me. I would travel with them again in a heartbeat, would give more than 5 stars if I could”

“Western Springs Lakeside Park is one of the most beautiful and relaxing spots in Auckland. The lush greenery, serene lake, and abundance of birdlife make it perfect for a weekend stroll or picnic. The walking paths are well-maintained, and there are plenty of open spaces for kids to play or just to sit and enjoy nature. It’s also right next to the Auckland Zoo and MOTAT, making it a great addition to a day out. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind without leaving the city!”

“Just amazing! Who would have thought this not really a hidden gem at the heart of the highway has lots to offer. For a loner like me, it gave me a sense of ease whilst taking a short hike...it was a 4 hours well spent for a bit of sun and just pure nature all for me.”

“The Island Bay Marine Education Centre, also known as "The Bait House", is an interactive marine experience based in Island Bay on Wellington's south coast. As well as there being lots of different sea creatures on display (including a couple of octupuses, sea horses, crayfish, turtles, a grumpy blue cod to name a few) you can also handle starfish, sea cucumbers, sea anemones, crabs and other sea life found un the touch pools. There is far more inside than you would expect from the outside and the volunteers whi wirk there are very friendly and helpful. It is really reasonably priced ($5 for adults, $2 per child) and we were all entertained for ages. Really good fun and educational too. Definitely worth checking out with the family.”

“What a great experience. Such a beautiful scene. We went with baby, so did not attempt the walk ways. We walked accross the beach during low tide and went up to the museum. Will definitely head back once baby is a bit older to complete the routes.”
