We had a really nice tour on the Ortago Loop including the Port to Port Ferry with Rachel. During the tour we got an explanation of things we passed by and their history. I had some problems booking online, and also made a mistake with the date, but Rachel fixed everything for us and including renting of bikes.

We have had the best day out on the waters of Dunedin. We met Rachel at the jetty and caught the Sootychaser from Portobello. The interesting points crossing to Port Chalmers were great. We knew we were in for a great day. Calm conditions. Sunny skies. Lots of sea-life along the coast. We stayed for ages watching the fur seals. Watched the Albatross skimming the sea. 2.5 m wing spam. Itβs the best way to view. Great scenery. We got a list of what birds and sea-life look we saw to take away and remember the great day we had. We also got to see bike riders join us crossing over to the other side to continue their bike riding. A very handy service. Would highly recommend. Well worth organising and keeping in touch with Rachel. A fantastic service.

We had a great afternoon exploring the Dunedin Harbour and Otago coastline with Rachel on a wildlife tour. We got up close (but not too close!) to a lot of wildlife and were fortunate enough to be visited by a couple of albatrosses in flight (I think the photo of the bird is of a giant Petrel). It was fantastic to look back at the heads and Aramoana from the sea, which offered a new perspective on the beauty of our amazing coastline and harbour. The conditions were excellent, and the tour was professionally run in a very comfortable, high-quality boat equipped for both comfort and safety. For anyone feeling the cold, there was a spacious inside cabin. Our group of 16 all thoroughly enjoyed their time with this professional tour operator. It was a great tour for old and young alike!

What a fantastic experience & weβll worth the money. Rachel was great, providing so much information, spotting all the wildlife while skippering the boat. She provided life jackets and binoculars to everyone and have us cookies. At the end of the tour, she also gave everyone a sheet with all the wildlife which we checked off what weβd seen - and we saw a lot! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Rachel did an awesome job being tour guide, boat captain and deck hand. There were binoculars for everyone, and we all had our life vests on during the journey. She was excellent at getting up close to the wildlife. We saw many types of sea birds, albatrosses, blue penguins, seals and sea lions, so much wildlife! The boat ride was fun! It was a sunny day and we really enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend this experience. There were three little boys on board and it was great to see their enthusiasm and interest in the wildlife. We were on a cruise with NCL. They were charging $169 per person for the same/similar experience. I am happy we booked directly with Rachel through Viator. It really is only a five minute, easy walk to the dock where Port to Port picks us up. Itβs nice to support small businesses. My only complaint was that since we booked through Viator, for a few days it showed as βPendingβ - pending tour operator review. I had to follow up with Viator, and they communicated with Port to Port. We did get confirmation, but only a few hours before the actual excursion. Another passenger said she had the same experience. Once confirmed we were great!

I booked a "Treasure Hunt" trip for myself and three kids last weekend - we loved it! The trip included a short ferry ride from Port Chalmers out to Quarantine Island, a treasure map for each of the kids and then a small bag of "treasure" for each of them on our return trip back to Port Chalmers. The owner/operator Rachel was very friendly and shared some interesting commentary on the history of the region during our short trips on her boat. Highly recommended!
