I booked for an Christmas experience for my 4 grandchildren (7, 5, 2 x twin 3 year olds) my son and his wife, my husband and myself. It was a secret family event. Today was the day. The boys were so excited when they saw the trikes. What a blast. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time on the 2 trikes. Highly recommended. Thank you to Nigel and Kathryn.
It was a new experience to ride on the trike. It was fun when the vehicle accelerates. We were there in summer at 12 noon and the sun was unforgiving. I got sunburnt very badly. Please wear UV clothings, or long sleeves and pants if you are riding in summer. Caps and glasses will be blown off so if you have a band or clip, please secure your belongings! We had a hard time finding these guys. On cruise days, they are just situated outside the gateway. Don't miss them!

Thank you so much, Nigel, for your exceptional attention to detail during our tour. You went above and beyond by going back home to fetch a suitable seat for my baby, and even had goggles prepared in the trunk just in case. Since our baby is quite small, you customised a city view journey for us, which was thoughtful and appreciated. The power of the V8 engine was thrilling, and the kids were absolutely excited. I highly recommend everyone to give this a try — it's more than worth it!
Got off the Pacific Explorer, heard about the V8 Triles before hand, seen them out the front. 4 of us took the 1 hour V8 drive… boy it was fabulous, it added to the great adventures so far from visiting ports of New Zealand. Worth seeing the guys, book a slot, sit back and enjoy the ride.
THE BEST FUN EVER! You will not be disappointed!!! Nigel toured us & gave us so much information about the area. Family run business-Nigel at the wheels, Kathryn (wife) making sure everything is going smoothly & Stephanie (daughter) is the ticket lady. IT IS A MUST DO when you visit Tauranga!

We were merely walking through town looking for something to eat when we spotted the two trikes glistening in the distance. Nigel took our group of four off for an hour on what was an absolute exhilarating ride enjoyed by all of us. There was beautiful scenery and some thrill seeking elements of the ride that we thoroughly enjoyed. We are kiwis who have been living in Australia for 30 years and it was our first time down the Mount - we were not disappointed and highly recommend this tour if you have time the trike was just beautiful….thanks Nigel for the ride and the memory and I hope lots of visitors give this a go when in town it’s so worth it.
We are so happy with our experience on the V8 trikes. Kathryn & Nigel were so accomodating and made our Xmas work party so much fun. They managed to fit us in at short notice and went above and beyond. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!
