I had a beautiful day out with Alita & Tom fishing and chatting! The 2 are so knowledgeable, polite and hospitable, providing you with a really great experience on the open water. We were able to catch 5 or 6 different species of fish - including one Kingfish we released. Alita then prepared a gorgeous lunch, including the freshly caught fish. Overall an amazing experience, thanks a lot to the both of you!!

The lunch provided was absolutely delicious, a perfect complement to the day on the water. The crew's local knowledge was outstanding; we didn’t have the busiest of biting days, but it honestly didn’t matter. It's clear that they have a genuine passion for sustainable fishing practices, and enjoying ensuring the day isn’t just about how many fish you catch. This fishing trip was incredibly family-friendly—everyone, regardless of age would enjoy this charter. The day was both relaxing and fun, striking just the right balance. Alita, one of the crew members, even filleted the fish we caught right on the boat and provided excellent local recommendations on where we could cook and enjoy our fresh catch afterwards. I would highly recommend Valda M Fishing Charter to anyone looking for a full-package day out on the water that is great value for money. It was an experience we won’t soon forget!
Went out on a charter for my birthday with a few friends and we had a fantastic experience. We caught as much fish as we could take home in just an hour! Alita and Tom surprised us with a cute lil cake and the big lunch they provided was delicious, especially the freshly caught fish that was fried up! After catching as much fish as we wanted, we anchored close to shore off an island, snorkelled, and harvested a few sea urchins to try(with some prompting and direction from Tom). We were also lucky enough to momentarily see dolphins alongside the boat! Overall a fantastic day out on the water with a very friendly crew who were knowledgeable and easy going. Best Day Ever with Tom and Alita on the Velda M fishing charter. Yes we caught fish all day but the highlight was the personalised experience and being well looked after. Everything (including an awesome lunch) was supplied and every detail taken care of. Book this trip. It’s the best!
Wow! Speechless!.. Today our family were welcomed on board, given unique local commentary while we headed out to our spot. A great time with many memories made. A massive haul of big fish! A beautiful lunch and lots of fun and laughter. Fish all filleted and packed by time of arrival into Pier. Totally recommended.. Well done Tom and Alita. We'll be back soon ! Got to spend a wonderful day fishing aboard the Valda M. Alita and Tom are good-hearted people who do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and hook a fish! You can tell they have years of experience and feel their passion for fishing. I am very glad I came on the boat instead of booking one of the big charters (which are overpriced and impersonal mind you).... Amazing fishing trip, Tom and Alita were amazing and very knowledgeable. They provided a fishing experience that was super enjoyable, and you can tell these owners have a big passion and excitement for fishing. This experience is quite different than a lot of large tours, highly recommended.
