“The food was delicious! My yakisoba was made just in time, and the waitress was very kind. It is a good option if you leave the airport from Auckland to Hamilton. You save time, money and can eat very well. I wish the place could be large enough to accommodate more customers in the same time.”

“Always kind friendly service and carefully prepared quality food. Prefer this restaurant over other St Pierre's. I come regularly for lunch and like the katsu rice ball and sashimi.”
“Super yummy! The gnocchi is absolutely delicious, got it with the creamy avocado and chicken sauce. The pizza is also great, plentiful with toppings and great portions!”

“You aren’t there for atmosphere, but food is awesome and service is super friendly. They make it for you if it’s not already made. And open late!! Whoop!! Have been back many times and will again. Great place for good sushi or cooked Japanese food.”
“Love this place! Have been coming here most weeks for the past few months. The food is always great, our go to is the Pho! My favorite is the Pork Pho and my partners is the Meat Combination. Great prices and full of flavour :)”
“Great japanese experience, had teriyaki don, agadashi tofu and it was amazing, a bit pricey but worth it”
“The better St Pierre branch in the Auckland that offers both hot and cold Japanese food. Healthy and affordable compare to other fast food options in CBD, decent wait time even during the lunch time rush. I am a regular.”
“Had lunch here today and ordered the chicken katsu donburi special for only $17.50. Best value for lunch, as it also comes with a small bowl of miso soup. The chicken katsu was tasty and the serving size is enough to make me full. The salad is good as well as the carrot tempura with dipping sauce. The staff is nice and friendly. Will come back to try the sushi train or some other food in the menu, and better with my family.”
“I've visited this restaurant a couple of times and always meant to write a review but their delicious food just slipped my mind. I had the pleasure of dining there again tonight with my wife and I must say the place consistently meets high standards. The service was excellent and the seating was both nice and comfortable. My children absolutely love the sushi too. Plus, the prices are reasonable, there's plenty of parking and the atmosphere is wonderfully clean. It’s a great spot to enjoy a meal.”
“Yummy i cant find anyother veitnam outside auckland can compete here . Always best food”
“I come here quite often and it never disappoints! Service is fast, workers are nice and the quality is pretty good. I’ve never had a bad experience here so it is interesting seeing other peoples reviews.”
“It's a standard format cafe. I got for one thing, my fave Katsu Chicken on Rice. Always an easy purchase. Place is clean and staff are always willing to help.”
“Always get a quick snack from here when in hurry. Crab salad is my favorite, so as sushi of the day. Convenient with ample car parking lot.”
“Absolutely amazing! Emailed a couple of questions before coming and the replies were very quick and helpful. Service was amazing. The food, MY GOD THE FOOD, by far the best lamb dish I've had in wellington. Comes with these onions in a sauce that is just devine. 10/10 will be back again. An amazing experience especially for groups. Also as a note the salad at the start, idk what dressing is on it. But it's amazing !!!!”
“This is as good as it gets. Really good Chinese food. Authentic Chinese and kiwi favourites as well. Nice, friendly service. Bathroom has had a major, much needed upgrade. In fact the whole place has been upgraded. We will definitely be back. From the way that the other customers (four different groups, two Chinese, two kiwi) related to the staff, you could tell that they weren't there their first time. It's a good sign when customers come back. We had the curry chicken, cha shao pork (much bigger dish than in the menu photo), Fu Yong egg (omelette thingy) and stir fried veggies. All delicious.”
“Our favorite stop for a hearty meal after a very long day. Good portion sizes and tasty food. Their fish and chips was beautifully done as well.”
The kitchen at St Pierre's Sushi takes a Japanese‑leaning path and lets the food speak. Service stays present without fuss. Broths and noodles keep good heat and snap. Plates offer plenty without weighing things down.
“My partner and I have been going to Sushi Ya for 3 months now, every weekend. The customer service from Jack has never disappointed us. He truly goes above and beyond for us and fellow customers. He never fails too put a smile on our face and we always leave the store itching too come back for more. The food is by far the best sushi we have ever had, we’ve never had a bad experience here. Thank you Sushi Ya but most importantly thank you Jack for always making our experience a better one. You never fail to disappoint, keep doing what you’re doing! the world is better with people like you around.”
“After a long and busy day exploring Tauranga and Blue Spring, we were starving and decided to have dinner at this place, hoping for a satisfying meal. The ordering process was very convenient and modern—they have iPads for self-ordering, making it quick and hassle-free. The food was reasonably priced and, although it took a bit of time to be served, it was well worth the wait. Everything was delicious, fresh, and flavorful, and we all left feeling full and satisfied. A great spot to unwind after a day of adventure. Thank you for the great meal—we’ll be back!”
“Loved it so much the food was to die for the staff where amazing me n my family where looked after very well ... definitely coming back next month ...will make it a regular definitely”
